Hotel very well located, near Osaka station. Room was good size and clean. Ceiling of bathroom very low. At 5'10" my head could almost touch it. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good at a reasonable price. Would stay there again.

Ibis Budget Osaka Umeda is about a 10-minute walk from Umeda Station and there are plenty of shops and restaurants along the way to keep you entertained. Umeda Station links to all the major tourist spots in Osaka, so this hotel's location is perfect for exploring Osaka. The rooms are small but have all you need if you plan to spend your time in Osaka outside of the hotel. In addition, the staff were very helpful and welcoming. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit to Osaka.

It is an excellent and convenient hotel to stay at if you are on a budget (as the name implies), and it still looks like a semi-premier hotel on the inside. The breakfast included was also great. Although I understand the dedication to eco-friendliness, the fact they only do room service once every 3 days wasn't my cup of tea. Otherwise, I highly recommend this place to stay as it's also decently close of many train stations.

Its in the name, budget.. Some feedback for the management: - tv is very old, it is the 1. generation smart tv without YouTube or Netflix. Its 2024... so - There is a waterboiler but no theabags, what is the purpose then. For less demenading travelers its ok for a fair prcie.

The Ibis budget in Osaka is much better than the Ibis budgets we have in the UK. The room was quite small, but spotlessly clean and generally fine. It is a "no frills" hotel so we weren't expecting much but actually we were pleasantly surprised. We generally slept quite well, but the hotel was not as sound-proofed as other Japanese hotel and the hotel does appear popular with "westerners": we had some irritating children running around the corridors in the early evening (not the hotel's fault of course). No real traffic noise, despite being on a busy road. The hotel is quite close to Osaka station but it is quite long, somewhat stressful walk with luggage from the JR station. However, overall, I would say the location was convenient, since only a few minute's walk to the metro station. Overall, this was good and I'd stay again.
