"We had a lovely one-night stay here - the owner and staff were super welcoming and helpful, and we enjoyed a great breakfast in the morning. We were in one of the attic rooms, which involved a bit of stooping on our part, but it was a lovely room all the same!"

"Thank you, Premiere Inn, our overnight stay was perfect and easily could stay longer, to accommodate our family of 4. It was clean, the staff were friendly, resourceful and accommodating. If you have lots of luggage, it is better to catch a cab from the rail station. Only £5-€12 because it's close but hilly. The breakfast was delicious and good value. Durham is beautiful and charming with so much character."

"The cleanliness of this apartment was substandard, dirty bedlinen which was stained and had other people’s hair on it. Very smelly unclean drains in the bathroom which kept us awake at night it was so bad. We had to clean the plug in the bathroom sink as it was full of black mould which washed into sink every time you put plug in. The carpets and sofa were dirty with stains, presumably from other peoples dogs? We couldn’t use the sofa it was so bad, no throw to cover it. Spider webs covered the light fittings. The apartment needs a thorough deep clean. The wine, chocolates, milk and orange juice were a nice touch but we would have preferred the apartment to be clean and no gifts. Very disappointing."
