"The breakfast was awesome! You could make your own waffles or mini waffles for the kids. Since they only serve hot breakfast according to the listing, I thought it would be cereal and maybe toast. It was hard to find the mini fridge, it was in a cabinet. Our friends had a larger refrigerator, so we thought we didnโt have one in our room, until I opened the cabinet. The shower made a high pitched sound when you turned the hot water on, but the shower pressure was good. Sam the person working the front desk was very friendly. Overall it was a nice stay."

"Staff was extra helpful and friendly. I appreciated the thoughtful amenities such as games, s'mores, DVDs, and gold star for the affordable snacks on the honor system! Parking was fine. We drove past the Inn first time. The directions to the stairs to access the beach weren't clear to us or others we met while wandering to find the illusive steps! Location was perfect, the room was just right and very comfortable. Plenty of available towels I would recommend the Anchor Inn Resort to my friends and I would stay there again! Thank you for the awesome stay!"

"The room was adequate but not luxurious. It seemed to be newly renovated, but the shower had gross caulking. I thought I was getting a deluxe/luxurious room as the pictures on expedia were a bit deceiving. I wish there was a more accurate room picture. And we thought this was beach level, (again, due to the pictures) but it was up on the cliff. Beach access was only 2blocks away. So it was fine. Amenities were great! Fire pits, and FANTASTIC breakfast!"

"We were in building L which had a wonderful ocean view, double queen and upgraded interior. Our room was on the main floor and the walking noise from those upstairs (they were just doing normal stuff) felt excessive. Our friends were in building Q and had a king room with a mostly tree view that needed updating. We didn't use the pool. The stairs to the beach was nice and the beach was fun. The restaurant is only open Thursday-Sunday."

"Outstanding place to stay at the Oregon coast. Newly remodeled large rooms that are quite nice, the staff went out of their way to ensure guests felt welcome- all of them from the front desk to breakfast staff to housekeeping. The breakfast was excellent and the hot salmon chowder served daily in the evening was outstanding. A word of caution though- the shower is two sided glass and is exposed to the whole room."

"We love the balcony room we stayed in on the 3rd floor! Lovely view, quiet location. The staff do not give the impression that they like their jobs much which left us feeling apologetic when we needed to ask for anything. Also, the parking is kind of a nightmare..."
