"We booked a two-night stay at The Grove Resort & Water Park Orlando for Mother’s Day weekend. Upon arrival and check-in, everything appeared excellent. Our room was modern, spacious, and well maintained. Unfortunately, our experience changed considerably on the second day of our stay. The water slides and lazy river, key amenities that distinguish this resort from others, were closed for maintenance during our visit. Additionally, we experienced significant issues with the food delivery service, that we paid $165 for. We would however, like to recognize the bartender at the Safari Bar located across from the hair braiding station. He was consistently professional, welcoming, and attentive to our family throughout our stay, and his level of customer service was greatly appreciated. At checkout, the front desk receptionist asked about our experience, and we respectfully shared our disappointment regarding the amenity closures during a holiday weekend. In response, we were told, “It was on our website, we can’t help that you overlooked it.” We found this response dismissive and lacking the level of professionalism and empathy we would expect when providing guest feedback. After checking the website following our booking, we did see the notice indicating the amenities would be closed from 5/5–5/19. However, our reservation was made in mid-March. We understand that temporary closures are unavoidable but communication prior to arrival would be the right way to let guests know."

"We have stayed here several times before but this trip they had some trouble at check in. The clerk was struggling with the computer process which took over 45 minutes. The frustrating part was a coworker standing idle did not respond to him when he asked questions SEVERAL times. It could have been other issues with them. We were frustrated and we were charged 2 times for the room in addition to the incidental charges although it was prepaid. In the morning the manager did fix the problem so I judge by how they attempted to fix the problem"

"Stayed for my 30th birthday and Mother’s Day… loved the room it was very spacious the beds were so comfortable the pool was great the hot tub was amazing. Breakfast was included it was good. Everything is walk distance so barely had to use my car to get anywhere."

"The WDW dolphin is a beautiful and well run hotel. Our stay was fantastic, it’s so convenient to the parks and we enjoyed Bluezoo and Bourbon Steak as well as all of the bars. It was easy to grab a quick coffee in the morning at Fuel. Highly recommend. "

"The room was clean, staff is very friendly and helpful, it is our go to for quick 1 nighters or longer stays. Breakfast and parking is included in your resort fee, and you can enjoy the sister hotel right next to it, royale caribe. 10/10 recommend! Also everyone must try the pizza place in this hotel."
