"The room was clean and the breakfast was ok. Need a little more variety for breakfast. Everyone does not eat bacon and that was the only meat alternative. Having the bar and music was a pleasant surprise. I will certainly come back again. Great room and close to the beach. Price is excellent!"

"We had a very nice stay at the Driftwood Resort, even though it was a short one. If you’ve stayed at older beach properties before, you’ll know what to expect. There was a little bit of a musty smell and the room was definitely humid, but honestly that seems pretty typical for places this close to the water, especially when the windows open completely so you can enjoy the ocean air and view. The property is older and it shows in some places. We had a towel hanger come off the wall, and you can tell things have been painted over many times and the rusty fridge has charm, and some of the finishes aren’t exactly crisp and new. But none of those things made or broke our stay, and I definitely wouldn’t consider them a reason not to stay here. Check-in was pretty basic and there aren’t a ton of amenities, but the real reason to stay here is the location. The pool was nice, beach access was wonderful, and their stretch of beach is absolutely beautiful. Being able to enjoy the view and walk right out to the water was exactly what we wanted. Parking was lucky. Feel like we got the last possible spot. Hopefully u Overall, we had a really nice night and enjoyed our stay. We’ll definitely be back to Ormond Beach again!"
