"The location to the beach, eating establishments and beautiful landmarks is ideal. Thankful for a working elevator as we requested the 5th floor. We had room 507 which is an end unit and very quiet. The view is the star here and was glad that the windows were cleaned to not obscure any of it. The fireplace is the only heat, but we enjoyed it and was just as convenient as a heater. The bathroom is tiny with the sink being outside the bathroom and had very little space on the counter to accommodate any toiletries. The shower had dual shower heads and was very nice. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because of the bed. It was supposed to be a pillow top, but the pillow disappeared long ago and left a rock hard bed. This would be the one reason I wouldn't stay here again. Some of the beds have been replaced, but staff did not know which rooms had. Hoping they address this soon."

"We went in the offseason so the price per night was excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful during our entire stay. The room was a bit dated but very spacious for our needs. The included breakfast could use some improvement, especially the eggs and sausages. Coffee was good."

"We loved the big windows and ability to see the ocean. We caught the sun set each evening. With the kitchen, we were able to cook our meals. Bed was comfortable and a shampoo, conditioner and hand lotion for each night we were there."

"When we travel we don't expect to be catered to, that's for Salishan or Overleaf. While at Seagull, the front desk lady with the cool tattoo's was welcoming, direct, and useful...still miss Filiz! Our room was warm, clean, basic amenities including Keurig with 4-6 pods. If you want chandeliers, decent breakfast (2-3 others provide waffles/eggs), posh bedding, a box of complimentary snacks...not here, you'll pay more for this elsewhere. Bring your own bag of snacks. Bring your own heavier blanket or shampoo. The upgrades are nice with the tv quality and coastal paint scheme, the blue lighting at night outside is a nice touch. We were able to go down/up some stairs to access the overlook non-deck area to watch people fly their kites. Several drove their cars down to get stuck in the sand. Luckily there were kind people with pickups who helped get them unstuck - what a community of nice guys there! Going down the driveway to the beach is accessible, for some with knee or moderate mobility issues the walk may be slower or strained. Parking is decent and safe."
