"L'Aia is a nice B&B (not Resort) with a very friendly owner (Vincenzo) that does everything to make the stay welcoming and relaxing. The room has a good size, and the exterior has beautiful views. The swimming pool is gorgeous, and the BBQ/Bar area is a plus. Internally, the shower does not have a consistent flow of hot water, with intermittent cold/hot flows. We couldn’t understand why the place was mostly empty, but we stayed mid-week, and the place clearly caters to Italians (even the spa menu was only in Italian). "Oh what a find! This hotel exceeded expectations and it is even more lovely than the pictures! The lighting and setting is upscale and everything is done top notch. I highly recommend this hotel—it is within walking distance to the ruins, even for seniors 7 min. I could have stayed much longer..better than many 4 and 5 stars! Staff nice."
