Ottawa Embassy Hotel
Great location on a quiet street but with easy access to both Centretown and Byward Market (via Rideau Centre). Building is older but the units are nicely renovated and very spacious. Has a full kitchen if one wanted to cook. Onsite parking is limited but there is easy access to parking at Ottawa ...

Lord Elgin Hotel
A lovely classic old hotel, albeit one in the midst of significant renovation. That said, surprisingly good value in an expensive hotel city and very well located for anything you might need in Byward Market, University of Ottawa and downtown/Centretown.
