Staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. Very quiet and picturesque location. Excellent breakfast and spa. Only slight negative is we upgraded to a Deluxe room and I would suggest it was average rather than deluxe.

Arrived to a luke warm welcome. The bedroom window was wide open, to air the room, which was damp. The reception area stank of cigarettes smoke. Beaitiful castle in a stunning setting. The rhododendrons were all in bloom and there are magical walks along the paths through the grounds to the nearby island. Dinner and breakfast were delicious with fresh local produce. Staff were all lovely to us and we had a really special weekend.
