We then had to wait two hours whilst the owner came to the property to get the room ready. Waiting outside in the side proved to be a disaster as their outdoor table and chair was covered in a black bitumen type substance that got all over the bottom of my trousers and completely ruined them. "always professional here , very clean. we prefer to go to breakfast early to avoid ques when its busy (before 8am) car park next door is convenient but pricey. all round a good place to stay we have been a good few times and will go again!"

"Great position, sunny afternoon siting lakeside was wonderful. The hotel was a little tired but clean. Breakfast was horrendous, went down at 9:30 ( breakfast finished at 10:30) and didn’t actually receive by cooked breakfast until 10:45, 1.5 hours for a very basic breakfast is just not acceptable. I would image the kitchen being under resourced, plenty of serving staff, just nothing coming out."

"Generally the standard of hygiene could be improved dramatically , just very dusty and dirty in certain areas. They just need to hoover the carpet more. We had a blocked sink and the water wasn’t very warm despite setting to maximum. I understand other guests had similar issues. Positives were - very friendly staff, comfy bed and oreo snacks were nice"
