"This may be one of the finest hotels I’ve ever stayed in. The staff bent over backwards to make us happy. The day we checked in, the clerk noticed on my passport that it was my birthday. She was charming wishing me a happy birthday. Then two minutes after entering our room, she called to make sure everything was ok. "Nice place in a slightly quieter part of Amsterdam, but still only a few minutes walk from where it all happens. Staff were super and the hotel bar was well run. We didn’t try breakfast or dining options as there are so many places close by. My only gripe was the slightly odd toilet/Shower cubicle arrangement in the room. Rather than being a separate room, they are literally just cubicles in your room and the sink is in the corner. Perhaps it’s a normal Dutch layout but it was a bit weird for...

"Hotel Aalders is the perfect place to stay in Amsterdam! Situated in the museum district, it is an easy walk to major museums, parks, shopping and transportation. The area is quiet and upscale. The hotel is beautiful, the staff amazing, and our room had everything we needed. I would most definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Amsterdam!"
