"Excellent position for access to boatyard; and the service was great. The manager was very accommodating when it came to booking an early breakfast and the food was very good. I’d highly recommend this hotel and would happily use it again "

"Room was nice although bathroom was quite cramped with little room to even put the bath mat down. Bed was comfortable but the duvet needs to be updated as it was incredibly lumpy with large parts where there was no filling at all. Lovely and quiet location with nice view of the garden. Breakfast was good quality, nice choice with plenty to eat. Would have been nice for the team to have explained what there was when we arrived and to be given a menu to select from. Staff on reception were very friendly and polite. "

"Expedia…. I accidentally put the wrong dates in for my stay, and I only realised once I’d booked, basically the wrong month.. When I tried to amend it they wouldn’t, they told me to cancel my booking (with no refund) and re book.. so I never actually stayed and the hotel got paid tegardless"

"We spent 2 nights here and found ALL staff really friendly and helpful. Most especially in the restaurant and bar. They were excellent. We had a lovely relaxing break with a pool and a spa and a restaurant. We were not expecting much for the price but will definitely be back. I have stayed in many hotels and I was very happy with the room and cleanliness. The facilities for self catering are unbelievable for the price. I would just like to say that the restaurant portions and food were really really good value for money. I am a huge eater and struggled to eat 2 courses. We had planned on eating in local restaurants but loved it so much we ate both nights on site. Great staff, great food and drink and evenings were thoroughly enjoyed. Thank you all for your hard work in making everything perfect for us. "

"Nice venue, a little dated perhaps but it was clean spacious and warm. I cannot fault the staff they were welcoming friendly and attentive. The restaurant was only serving a bar menu which was a little basic but it was tasty hot, hot and good value for money.the venue is very reasonably priced and you get what you pay for, I would happily stay there again. Unfortunately the bar closed at 8pm, but there is a pub within walking distance if you’re willing to risk the dark country road to get to it."
