"Property was great, but my overall experience was over shadowed by the hotel not having a room for us soon arrival. I notified the hotel earlier in the day of our late arrival and they still gave the room away."

"Don't bother wasting your money at this hotel. It's dirty and noisy and full of construction workers who drink all night in the parking lot and leave their beer bottles strewn everywhere. Breakfast is garbage we walked in and walked right back out and went to Bob Evans. There was fruit flies swarming the fruit and filthy tables. The only reason we stayed here was because we passed our cancellation date for a refund. But take this warning from me and don't waste your money or time."

"Old building that they are trying to put lipstick on. Musty smelling in the building and with the room air conditioning. Dirty bathroom had to put a towel in the tub to stand on. Only warm shower water. Sink did not drain. OLD structure with a paint job. Parking lot with craters…walls in hallway with gouging in drywall, only ice on one floor…. Breakfast fair to poor… back to the 80’s Most staff was nice tho"

"We are regular clients at IHG group hotels and we were not surprised and definitely not unimpressed at Holiday Inn, Birch Run. Everything slotted into place as normal making us feel "family". Breakfast was self service and basic for what we needed. The room was serviced 1 day before we left,it could have waited until we left. If our travel dictates we will stay here again."

"Please don’t stay here. WiFi does not work. Period. And that is not because you are in the wrong room. It doesn’t work in any room. Why? Because owners / managers think that WiFi is complementary and not really a core part of the offering. When asked for refund to move to a different hotel, management flatly denied the request. Overall a pathetic experience. Stay away for your own sanity!"

"The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were fresh and welcoming. Breakfast included a nice, rotating assortment to choose from and everything was fresh and delicious. I will definitely recommend this hotel to others."

"We only needed a place for one night so this place was fine. Im not sure I would stay any longer then that. The walls are pretty thin and you can hear all the noise going on. Like I said we only needed it for one night so it was fine, but I will avoid staying there again."
