"First time staying at a Holiday Inn but can thoroughly recommend this one in Portsmouth. Only staying overnight before getting the ferry but wished we could stay longer. Managed to do some shopping at Gun Wharf & enjoy the surrounding area. All within easy reach to hotel.

This is likely more of a personal request but since they have communal changing areas, bigger towels for those guests that just can't quite fit normal towels would be an appreciated addition - it's the little things! There is a bar and restaurant. We sat out drinking beer on the patio, we used the golf driving range for a small fee.
There is a swimming pool and gym on site. We didnt uae these, there is a £5 fee per use of these facilities."

Aircon worked well and it was nice to be able to open a window. Plenty of parking though no longer free as we booked before the charge we were provided free parking. "
