"The house is massive and super cute! Lots of space to sleep and hang out. Full kitchen (cutest tiniest oven ever), and free washer/dryer with soap provided. Bathtub has an automatic heating feature which was super cool coming from a Canadian who has never seen this before. Super close to the ferry port. Fairly accessible by public transport from Hiroshima airport. "
"Really enjoy the stay in Hotel Route Inn. Very good value for the cost I paid.
Nice breakfast buffet and onsen facility for you to relax after a full-day trip.
Will consider Hotel Route Inn again if available for my next Japan trip."
"Worst night of my life. There was an alarm bell going off 5 times during the night, so I hardly had any sleep at all. When I finally gave up and left at 5am, there was nobody in the reception, otherwise I would have demanded a full refund."

"I would highly recommend anyone doing the shimanami kaido to stay here! It does make for a longer second day to complete the bike ride as it’s before the official halfway point but the hotel it self it absolutely stunning with the onsen we throughly enjoyed everything about this hotel."
"Just the most incredible experience we've ever had in a hotel. So much more that just a hotel, it's a whole Japanese luxury experience. Every member of staff was just incredible - friendly, efficient and really made the experience from the moment we stepped off the dock on the island because they met us there. The rooms are stunning - the pictures don't do them justice. The gardens are beautiful throughout the hotel - they feel very traditionally Japanese. The bathhouse is also stunning, I would recommend trying it even if you never have before! The dinner was incredible, their chef is extremely talented. The breakfast is perfect, a very traditional Japanese breakfast or a choice of a very good western breakfast if you don't fancy it. They managed to book us everything we wanted to do, from hiring bikes to organising a SUP tour. The island itself is so relaxing, a very different pace to busy Japanese cities. And the scenery around the islands is like nothing else, completely stunning. This was the hotel we planned our honeymoon around and I am so glad we did. "
