"If you are looking for fun in a beautiful, tranquil spot right on the ocean, stay at Barcelo! The amenities are great and the staff is superb! The Barcelo Life crew made the afternoon fun with games and activities in the pool. The wait staff was so kind. And the hotel front desk staff was very helpful! We loved the location away from the main area of Puerto Vallarta, but close enough to take a quick taxi ride in if we wanted. But, we actually didn’t want to leave the resort! There were lots of pools (4 total), a great beach front, and wonderful dining options. Just outside the property are a few little shops (pharmacy, oxxo, etc) in case you need anything. It was so peaceful but also a ton of fun for our whole family (tween/teen kids). I loved the shows in the evening and music at the bar. It was the perfect blend of vacation fun and vacation relaxation! Definitely was family friend - we met lots of couples as well as families staying here. It was awesome!"

"We were in Guadalajara for a wedding and our entire party stayed at the Plaza Diana. The rooms are spacious and well furnished. The beds and pillows are comfortable. The room has AC that is very quiet. There is a pools and a gym that were very nice. The restaurant offers an excellent buffet with the staples but also Mexican cuisine for a reasonable price. I highly recommend this hotel."
