We stayed here to be closer to White Pass to get up early to ski. Our room was clean, spacious and had a mini fridge and microwave. It is close to the main drag in Packwood so we popped down the road for dinner and breakfast the next morning. We will definitely stay here again.

Great stay! Will be visiting again. Perfect as a base camp for skiing white pass. Very clean and comfortable. Only reason I rated 4 star rather than 5 because the hall lights outside our room were very bright (wouldn’t be a problem unless you are a light sensitive sleeper) and the room was very warm. We were able to turn off the heat but had to open up the windows regularly to cool down the room.

Great
Nice place clean and comfortable. The only downsides was, for me, a bit of traffic noise, room location since its right off road. Since im not used to loud traffic, it me. Other issue floor of room is really cold, heater is a floor wall unit, took a bit to just get room warmed up. It winter and snowing\raining. All in all nice place to stay would definitely stay again.

Very clean - linens and bedding very comfortable. Perfect for a quick, one night stop. The owners were extremely friendly. The power had gone out in the entire town, and they immediately provided us with a high power lantern.

Very nice property, clean and quiet. Bed and linens are very comfortable. Room is nicely maintained. In room electric kettle with coffee and tea, free toiletries (shampoo, soap, lotion). I was in the area for work so just stayed a couple of nights, was perfect for what I needed. Very relaxing atmosphere.

Nice Quaint Hotel
Nice room with kitchen. Pretty basic set up that was well maintained and appeared to be maintained with care. No AC unit in the bedroom - it was not unbearable but definitely noticed as missing. Very nice people at front desk and maintenance. Good location. Quaint setting. I would recommend this hotel to others.

A great base camp for Mount Rainier NP
My husband and I planned a last minute trip to visit Mount Rainier National Park and stayed in a standard queen room in the main building for 2 nights. The room was modestly furnished and was very clean and comfortable. The price was reasonable considering the lodge’s proximity to the national park (15 minutes to the Ohanapecosh/SE entrance and a little over an hour to Paradise via Stevens Canyon Road). I appreciated that it was just outside the main drag in Packwood (while the town was lively and fun on a weekend evening I prefer a quieter place to stay) and a short walk to the river for some nice sunsets. Our room had a mini fridge, microwave, TV with cable, lounge chair, and small dining table for 2. The small AC unit worked well though the room stayed nice and cool even without it on. The bathroom was a bit dated and small but very clean. The non-carpeted floors were great. The owners were friendly and served coffee in the morning. We enjoyed walking the property and admiring the setting. We would definitely stay again when we return to the area!

The bathroom was very clean but I think the dishes/pots/pans should have been better cleaned before being made available for guest use. A dishwasher in each room would be a welcomed upgrade. Note that the air conditioning unit in our deluxe room was only attached to the main living area (which also has a bed). This meant that the second bedroom did not really receive any benefit from A/C unless the door was left open. Also odd was the soap. It didn't really lather at all and I ended up using my own body wash. All that said, the location was close to Packwood (groceries, coffee, gas and restaurants) and well positioned between the Sunrise and Paradise entrances for Mount Rainier National Park.

such a solid place
it was more than i expected based on the pictures, ac blows cold, the rustic wood type setting is a nice touch, powerful shower, good prices, 3 mins from the only food anywhere nearby.. it had a nice little garden. The front desk people we're really nice and did more than they had to do to be helpful. Theres not really anything negative I can say.. everything was great.
