"Receptionists were lovely and helpful and thanks to their communication with housekeepers, we even got early access to our room which we really appreciated as we had a very early flight. We were looking forward to enjoying lots of pool time but both outside pools were freezing (understandably) for the time of the year - April. However indoor pool has a rule of wearing a swimming hat 😣 whyyy!?!? All the men there had full chest of hair so frankly don’t see the point at all. Also had to buy swim hats for €3.50 each! Their GoApe is closed so that caused another disappointment. We’ve been told that cleaning is not happening on Wednesdays and Saturdays which is fine. However we had two other days without cleaning, first time we called and requested, 2nd was the day before our checkout so left it undone. Annoyingly we had ants on the floor since day 1 so that was a bit of fight every day. If you look for a soundproof rooms, these are not it. We got woken up multiple times a night with guests in rooms above, under and next to us, moving furniture, laughing and running kids in the hallway. Kitchen has a kettle and machine for filtered coffee, so take filters and ground coffee if you prefer this, it’s not provided. Shop in the connected hotel below is overpriced and very limited. Bathroom has shower gel and soap, nice towels. Béďa were comfy. We had a sea view which was nice. Breakfasts well stocked Closest beach is about 30min walk 3 restaurants & pharmacy about 10min "

"Was literally the most beautiful place we’ve ever stayed! So many things to do right at the resort! I would go back every single time. Love love love it there! The restaurants were so nice to have available, we were sad the pizzeria was closed the whole time we stayed but the snack bar was excellent! "

"This was the perfect location for relaxing! The pool was mostly quiet and so perfect for reading by and it was a nice walk down to the Oura strip (a bit further than indicated but I enjoyed the walk, none the less.) because I was on the ground floor I did get a few ants in the main living area but they weren’t much bother to me and I never seen any in the bedroom or high up in the kitchen area. Cleaners came once a week which was perfect for my two week stay. I would definitely stay here again in the future if I revisit Albufeira!"

"This is a beautiful, well equipped hotel that lets itself down due to corporate greed, amateur level service and lack of attention to detail. The hotel itself, the ground, the pools and the setting behind Falésia Beach are stunning. The place was immaculate, the heated pools were glorious, the rooms were large and comfortable and we slept well. However, after paying for our stay upfront (nearly €1500 for a few days) we were basically informed that our money was not good enough. The front desk said “what we do now is put a hold on your card for expenses and we suggest €100 a day.” I said I’d like to pay as I go. I did not appreciate being told to pre pay, particularly being told how much I should be spending. It was presumptious, tacky and exploitative, especially given that the hotel restaurants are extremely expensive and the menus average. For the next 24 hours there was a red banner on my glitchy guest app saying my credit had expired and I must contact front desk. This eventually changed to in credit. Our experience eating in the hotel was only the sub standard breakfast, which staff could not keep warm. Cold eggs, sausages, pancakes, potato rosti on 3 occasions. We stopped eating the hot breakfast. On the 2nd day I told front desk about the cold breakfast and the rep was unhelpful; she wanted me to tell the restaurant staff, not her. Eventually she agreed to pass on the feedback when I also reported that my shower was broken. This isn’t 5 star quality. "
