This was a nice stay with a comfortable and clean room. I also appreciated the kitchenette and the balcony. The car park is *extremely* tight, though, and there is no screen for the balcony so apparently cockroaches do fly in in the summer. I would suggest not leaving the balcony windows, etc. open in the summer for this reason, but they did put traps down at my request.

Cozy place!

This really charming little hotel near the beach, and it was absolutely wonderful! The location is great, just a short stroll from the beach. The rooms were cozy, clean, and created a welcoming atmosphere. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel at home. The peaceful surroundings and the sound of the waves made it an incredibly relaxing getaway. We highly recommend this lovely place.

This property has a fantastic location close to all that the Bay of Islands has to offer. An older style complex that is good value for money, the units are comfortable and clean, and fully self-contained. This complex is a100m walk to the closest Paihia beach and a flat 10-minute walk to the main street and tourist wharf at Paihia.

Nice setting, feels like a park. You can hear the ocean waves while sitting amongst the trees. Owner was helpful and offered suggestions for dining. Short walk into town was a surprise because it is literally just around the corner. The entrance to the property is a very steep hill and the parking is very tight, so if you can park and then walk everywhere, that’s a great option.
