"Good adult-only hotel, mainly male couples, some female couples and a few mixed. Great location, just 5 minutes from the Yumbo. Very expensive in-room minibar, you even have to pay for the first coffee! There is a Dolce Gusto machine in the room, but you pay a significant amount for a single pod, so bring your own tea/coffee, nearest Spar is in the Yumbo. Bathroom lighting not the best, you shower in darkness. Great shower though, plenty of hot water with good power. Bed is very firm but it is a proper double, good pillows. Poolside bar is good, but food seemed to stop after three, but plenty of restaurants around off-site. Breakfast not taken, finishes at 1100."

"The hotel is supposed to be one of the top hotels in Gran Canaria but is far from being the best. We paid for an ocean front room. Our room was located in the 5th floor of the main building which we thought was a good thing. The balcony door could be open or closed & the noise was the same. The shows started at 10pm and ended at 11pm. Awful noise until 1am. The room temperature can not be controlled by any guest. It is controlled by the property & set to 70o F. We were sweating every night & called the front desk who answered…”we can’t change the temperature for ecological reasons”. The pool service was pitiful. No waiters to attend any pool chairs. If you wanted anything you had to walk to one of the bars, if they were open, & wait forever to get service. The kitchen in all outside bars closed at 4pm even for snack/tapas. And no drinks around any pool bar after 5:45pm. The beach is not hotel front, you have a good walk to get to the sand. You can only get a dry pool towel between 10am and 12pm, they are closed outside those hours. We paid for breakfast included with our stay. One morning we had an early tour and they said they would prepare a breakfast to go. The bag we received left a lot to be desired compared to the breakfast buffet at the hotel. It had a cold sandwich with old bread & fruits that were starting to rot. This is the only hotel were I have stayed and the king bed only had two pillows for 2 people. We had to order two additional pillows. Stay elsewhere!!"

"It was a nice place, breakfast was good as well however parking was limited and we had to park outside the property several times. In addition what was disappointing is that the adults only pool can only be accessed if you have an adults only room rather than being for adults only. This means that the majority of people gather around one pool rather than being able to access both. The two pools was one of the selling points for us and we did not realise you needed to book specific room types, so be aware when you book your room."

"Nice pool, however fighting for sunbeds despite no reservation policy. Food okay, rooms basic but tired and needs updating. Door didnt fit properly so noise from outside seeped in."

"Supposedly a 4 star hotel but disappointing considering the price. They have the gall to charge €3/day to use the in-room safe - I've never seen this in any other hotel in the world; the 'housekeeping' is rudimentary - they will only make the bed, replace towels and empty bins; lots of choices in the breakfast buffet but it isn't great quality - their 'bacon' is some processed and reformed pig by-product. I'm sure there are better value options in Maspalomas."
