"Hot chocolate & other drinks were charged extra at breakfast. Extending the check out an hour later was an additional $20. There is no lobby with air conditioning to wait for pick up & it was hot. Front desk reception employees were not very welcoming-young ladies with sour faces."

The beach and pool was easy to reach. The rooftop pool and bar was so relaxing. The prices were reasonable. Especially, doing happy hour. Highly recommended."

"Oceanica Resort was such a beautiful place to stay. The beach is honestly breathtaking and easily one of the nicest we’ve seen. The whole atmosphere made it really hard to leave. What stood out most was the staff. Everyone we interacted with was so kind, welcoming, and hardworking. You can really tell how much they care about guests having a great experience, and we were so grateful for how friendly and helpful everyone was throughout our stay. The breakfast was also one of the best we’ve had while traveling with so many fresh and delicious options every morning. The only area that could use improvement is the on site restaurant service. The staff there were wonderful and clearly doing their absolute best, but it seemed like there simply weren’t enough people scheduled to keep up when it got busy, especially on weekends. Wait times for food and drinks could be quite long at times. I’d love to see the resort add another bartender and more servers during peak times because the staff truly deserve the support. Overall we had an amazing stay and would absolutely come back. Huge thanks to the amazing staff for making our trip so memorable."

"The resort hotel you imagine it to be. #1 favorite spot to book near Alona Beach (the outdoor beach restaurants spots). Tawala is a great option as the amenities of their other beach front location is also available to guests (some complimentary and some with a fee depending on what you want to use). Diverse buffet for their complimentary breakfast and 5min walk to the beach. Service and clealiness are always consistent and they do offer an in-house medic if guests are unwell."

"The staff are awesome, polite and very accommodating to customer’s needs particularly to Jhun-the security manager. He is showing highly professional decorum on his job. I would recommend this resorts to everyone. Its location, modern facility and cleanliness are highly impressive. To include its safety environment is beyond par from its competitors I’ve had been staying in Panglao. Keep it that way and we’ll keep coming back with some of our friends and family members. Hooorah!"

"Great private room. Perfect place to stay for budget travellers/divers. Everything was clean, and having 2 pools was a nice luxury. Only negative is that breakfast was quite poor. Would recommend booking the room without breakfast. "
