Tranquil setting for a relaxing stay, resort is very close to the Ferry station. Nothing to do at OPacifico but to rest, relax, enjoy natural beauty. Pool and Restaurant are an oasis. Rooms are comfortable and clean, outdoor porch. Enjoy

Perfect hotel in paradise

I couldn’t think of any other place that I would like to stay. It’s a little far from the airport, but if you take the ferry it makes it a lot better. Once you take the ferry across to naranjo, The ferry is about a 3 minute drive to the hotel. The staff is so kind, food is delicious. The location is incredibly calm and serene, a beautiful get away from the touristy crowds.

Favorite stay in Costa Rica!

The food at the restaurant was the best we have had in all of Costa Rica! The last at the front desk was so personable and helped bring all our luggage to our room for us so that we could make it to the restaurant before they closed. She was also just very friendly overall letting us know how life was like in that part of Costa Rica. The hotel is extremely peaceful and quiet, so very rejuvenating place to be. Also very romantic for anyone wanting a stay for that reason. Would hands down come back here.

We chose to stay here due to its access to the ferry. The staff and grounds were impeccable. We were welcomed with yummy welcome drinks. They even gave one to our two year old, which made her feel incredibly special. We were able to order our breakfast the night before, and it was ready for us at 7am to gobble up and head out to catch the first ferry out. The stay was quiet, relaxing, and great way to end our vacation.

I can never say enough warm words of how my family and I enjoyed the beauty and serenity of this absolute magnificent hotel, location, stuff, beach, gem of hotel. This boutique hotel with its lovely gardens, paths, pools, restaurant with fantastic food. Amazing décor and design in every corner both in the rooms inside and in the public places. Costarica is one of my favorite countries and OPacifico is one of my favorite hotels in costarica. I highly recommend it!! It’s absolutely wonderful!!

None of the rooms have an ocean view. The rooms backup to the highway so road traffic at night is noticeable. The staff arraigned a boat excursion for us. Thanks

A cut above most boutique offerings in the area. Beautiful grounds and surroundings. Waitstaff was a little surly and borderline unresponsive, but they get a pass due to low occupancy and off-season. But certainly felt like I was imposing in the restaurant. I will return.

Quiet, luxury waterfront boutique hotel with beautiful gardens and mordern decor and very comfortable bedding. Many shaded lounge chairs around the pool and beach. The beach has nice views but not so good for swimming. There's no TV in room which is a little surprise.

Not the greatest experience.

The hotel was convenient to ferry for early morning booking. Hotel grounds are lovely. The front desk staff spoke very good English. We’re very helpful booking our ferry for us. Unfortunately we did not eat at the restaurant. Staff appeared to be ill. So we ate at another place. They did ask if we wanted breakfast early but we declined due to feeling uncomfortable having kitchen staff prepare any food. Bartender not following hand washing practices. Very ill. I would recommend this for one night.

This is a fabulous destination resort on the Nicoya Peninsual though it comes up as Puntarenas. If you take the Naranjo ferry, you can walk to the hotel with light luggae in 10 minutes. The grounds are gorgeous and exclusive, and it has its own beach and pier. There are many birds and iguanas sharing the property. They have many relax areas on the beach, under the trees, and by the pool. The restaurant serves high quality food with pleasant service. The bar makes great drinks and smoothies. The resort price is very reasonable for what you get. This resort is best if you have your own car, and if not, you need to plan your shuttle transfers carefully in advance. There are no local taxis or Ubers to use and calling for one starts at $50. Naranjo is more North, so it would make sense if you tour southern beach towns first and this on the way up to Nicoya, Tamarindo, and Liberia. Enjoy.
