"The check-in was kinda troublesome because i did not get the code for me to check in. they said they have sent it. when we arrived at the area, there was no internet. However, even if it was difficult to get the code, you can reach the host easily via call. and able to accommodate us with the codes and all. Overall, it was a nice and clean place. Everything is available in the room. Will definitely recommend this place!"

The Westin Reserva Conchal, an All-Inclusive Golf Resort & Spa

"Overall the property was lovely. For an all inclusive the food was good. Cauri was the biggest letdown food wise, it just wasn’t flavorful. Bamboo was the one we ate at twice the first time it was amazing. The 2nd it was awful, the food came out at various times, some incorrect items, and the fried ice cream was lukewarm dough. From what we understood they were short staffed that night and a large family that didn’t make a reservation but berated the staff until they were let in which ruined it for everyone waiting. Service can be slow. You have to check in at the buffet and then wait for them to seat you. Which can take anywhere from 1-10 min depending on the time and day. I can’t imagine how the wait would be during high season. With sit down dinner it’s the same, water comes quick but can take time for the server to come. The staff are lovely always friendly and happy to help. The property was in great shape and cleaned regularly. We did wish the adults only side was open (under renovations) as many parents just let their kids run wild or play drums with silverware at a quiet dinner restaurant. If you don’t want to parent on vacation then leave your kids at home. The beach was clean and the vendors were not pushy, you tell them no once and they move along. I did end up getting a $40 hour long beach massage and it was amazing. We typically don’t repeat destinations but would stay here again if we did"

Great food, drinks (try the Green Monster), comfortable room, local entertainment, walk to a beautiful beach, large pool, pool tables inside, local craft fairs, sunsets, short walk to shopping, restaurants, harbor, sailing, snorkeling, surfing, diving. Plan to stay put on Weekend Sunsets as the small dirt road get crowded with guests and locals. Enjoy you stay."

"A short hour+ drive from Liberia. Bahia del Sol was a pleasant surprise. A very quiet beach with restaurants, bars, and other amenities within walking distance. The grounds are beautiful. We were there in the rainy season but it was fine. Arrival day it rained most of the afternoon and evening. The next day it rained in the evening, but we got 3 solid days of sunshine and breezes. Parking is a bit tight, but we always got a spot. Free breakfast each morning, although the selection was limited. I suspect they'd have made us most anything we wanted. The staff was wonderful. So friendly and helpful. This is our 4th time to the pacific coast, Samara, Tamarindo twice, and Potrero. We liked this one the best, it was so quiet, although that may have been mainly due to the time of year. I think there were only half a dozen or so occupied rooms. I'd actually go back during the rainy season again!"
