My room and 3other colleagues rooms all smelled of stale cigarette smoke, front door to hotel had been smashed and beds were uncomfortable. My colleague had bed bug bites.

Every ground floor window and door on the front of this building was smashed, with some looking like bullet holes. The breakfast was terrible, having to go and ask at reception for plates and if it was possible to get some cheese to go with the bread on offer. The man on reception at night had a terrible attitude and was very unhelpful. Our sink drainer broke during our stay, as was removed instead of being fixed. Cobwebs on light fittings in dinning area and cleanly visable dust along the perimeter of the hall carpets. Overall a very poor stay, and would not recommend.

Avoid for conditions and area. Staff are nice
Staff are very nice & helpful. This is good point. Everything else, poor. Air vent missing in bathroom fully removed just hole in wall to internal system. Not healthy or safe by your head in shower. Dirty filthy stains marks on walls and skirting. Floor not cleaned properly. Bedding had hairs in it. Very noisy location over trams throughout night even on 5th floor. Nighttime reception host locks himself in on night to be safe because bad area with vagrants. I was locked out for 5 mins on return after 2am and panic. Given my injuries and broken finger hand wrist no wonder even more so.This was not good. But a sign to explain is necessary. I understand he is scared to be attacked on a night there but locking out guests because you perceive they all in bed already not good

Brilliant
Booked a twin room for my daughter and I, was very small but we were rarely in the room other than to shower and sleep. Room was very clean and the hotel in general was very clean. Service by the gentleman on reception was outstanding he was such a nice friendly guy. Ideal location opposite terminus station on Ligne 13 (Les Courtilles) absolutely perfect for getting into Paris. Would definitely recommend staying here and saving yourself hundreds of euros versus staying closer to attractions. Thanks for a brilliant stay

The rooms are fairly small but very clean. It is across the street from the metro and there are a plenty of good restaurants within 10 mins walking. The only con is, even after we had the “do not disturb” sign they would still come knocking at our door at 9:30am. On the morning of our checkout they came at 11:45 asking us when we were going to checkout. We shared with them we would be out at noon since that is the checkout time. The front staff was not helpful and often times aggressive when we did have questions.

Stay clear of the arrogant manager..arrived early told in crude tone not till 2pm!..ok came back during a full argument she was having with her staff. Finally checked in , on the first morning the prepacked cooked microwave breakfast didn't impress my son's , so the second morning I went myself a little late at 10pm after paying 6 X £7 breakfast the dishes were empty .she said breakfast closes at 10..I kindly pointed out it was 10:30..at this point she said you only needed to ask..wow..worst experience of customer service in my 20yrs of traveling..one lift broke. Could be a great place with a professional manager.

Dirty sheets and I was asked to change it myself!
The hotel was ok. But my sheets were dirty. The type where there is coffee stains on it and the sheet was not washed properly. So I told the lady in the reception regarding the problem, her first reaction was "Are you sure?" then I told her about the coffee stain, she gave me 2 sheets and then what? I do change my own sheets? I should apply as a their staff. And yes, i have to change my own sheets! Also, when I wanted to talk to someone in reception, i have to wait for 5 minutes before someone will notice you. They thought I just like to just stand in front of the reception as a hobby. Overall. not so happy with the service. I only booked it cause it was close to where I want to be. Not coming here.

The location was good, it’s just in front of the tube station. But was it was disappointing was the service. When I booked the room I asked if I could leave my luggage with them the night before the check in and they said yes of course, no problem. I arrived very late to the hotel and at last minute they said no you can’t leave your luggage here in a rude way and they even told us to leave (it was very late at night and we had to run looking for places where we could leave the bags. I would stay there again but I wouldn’t count on them for that kind of things. Also the room was very very small but for the price that I paid it was ok

Was located in a sketchy part of Paris. Wasn’t easy to get to central Paris from here. The window ledges were full of bird poop. Breakfast was ok. Staff was very friendly.

Great value for money.
Hotel very well organised even down to reassuring security. However better for car than for public transport, remember to use Courcelles metro opposite to get to central Paris. Location means that it’s difficult to get to a good restaurant nearby if you don’t have your own transport. Good breakfast and excellent sound/heat insulation. Room perfect temperature.

Great hotel with easier transportation access
Nice hotel. Easily accessible from the city. There is a metro station right infront of the hotel. Good breakfast and friendly staff.

Pleasant hotel in a busy city
Our overall experience here was good. Getting here was difficult, but we dont hold the hotel responsible for that. There was a lot of construction in the area but you couldn't tell from inside the hotel, so props for that. Our room was nice and roomy. Breakfast was good except the coffee, that was weak. Again, not their fault as it was made by a machine. The hotel is pleasant and I think once all the construction is finished, it might be a nice area. The metro being right across the street was nice. One other negative was the cost of parking. Our other B&B we stayed at did not charge us for parking. Not sure why this one did.

The room was good, clean and small but it's a little far from downtown. The metro station is right in front but you will take 40 or 45 minutes to get there.

Basic but Modern hotel. Would stay again!!
Hotel was new and modern but at the same time pretty basic, that’s not to say that the hotel wasn’t very good because it was. Location was a little questionable but ideal as it was a minutes walk from the Les Courtilles metro station. Room was basic but modern and fit for purpose. Tv had no English channels however it had chromecast so was able to hook up Netflix from my iPad. Breakfast was agin basic when compared to English chains like premier inn but if you’re a fan of croissants and baguette then you will be fine. Hotel staff polite and their English was good. Overall a good stay and if I was to stay in Paris again I would consider this hotel again.

Good, but a few flaws
This place is nice with a very nice breakfast for only 6.5 euros. My biggest complaint is that the air conditioning did not work. It acted like it was doing something, but it didn't put out any cold air. We were burning up the entire time, even with the windows open to try and get some airflow. Also, the shower head would not stay on the hook at eye level so you had to use the hook at your knees to hold it up, which made it hard to take a shower. They tried to repair it before using a bunch of silicone, but it was only made to look better but still didn't function. Overall, this place is nice, but I would hesitate to book again because of the air conditioning.

Good place.
Good stay for the price. Everything was clean. The place is pretty utilitarian. The bedside outlets didn't work and the rooms don't have much space for luggage. The showers were strange in that it was not a completely closed in stall. Far away from downtown, but the metro stop is very close.

We had a lot of problems with this hotel and they promised to bring me back the entire amount I paid for the reservation. There were leaks from the ceiling because of the air conditioner and two nights in a row that we could not sleep because of the noise of the leak and probably because of that the air conditioner did not cool well when it was a heat load of 35-38 degrees !!! Our things got wet because of the leak. They took me on the second day to another room at 1 AM !! Because the leak went on and that's after they assured me they fixed the leak and that we could go to bed in the room! In the room they took me to, the sink was clogged and the water did not go down even though I complained that they did not come to fix it and we could not use the sink in a bathroom. They told me to update you too because the order was made through you and they need me to tell you to contact them so they will win me the entire amount I paid. Contact them urgently.

This is a strictly Budget hotel, u get what u pay for. The rooms are clean, Wifi is good, it’s close to the Rail station, it’s good for overnight stay only. The rooms are too small there is no Shower door. Its a bare bones hotel.

Inexpensive Paris hotel
Inexpensive hotel (compared to those in downtown Paris), not too close to the major attractions in Paris. Clean rooms, friendly and helpful staff that spoke English, breakfast is served in the mornings if you wish to purchase it, they also have 24 hr security guards present. My room was a little small, no closet, no iron, no mini fridge, just the absolute basics: bed, tv, shower and bathroom, some hooks and hangers to hang some clothes on a metal bar, and a rudimentary desk (barely bigger than a laptop) and tiny chair. The room is not a convenient place to do work as there is barely enough room to fit your laptop on the desk, though there is a table in the lobby that provides more space. Mattress was firm and comfortable. It is located directly across the street from the Les Courtilles metro station which is very convenient to get to downtown Paris on the number 13 line, except note that the number 13 line is one of the most crowded lines I've traveled on. It's about 30 - 40 minutes of jam packed riding on the metro to the main Paris attractions. There are not really many restaurants nearby: a McDonald's, a couple of boulangeries, and a sushi restaurant. I don't even think there's a convenience store or grocery store within reasonable walking distance. The condition of the hotel is very good as I believe it is newly built as of Oct 2018 and the wifi works very well and was very reliable.
