These were ok for a short stay but much less 'homely' than other Citadines we have stayed in. They were well located for public transport. The apartment was spacious, with a separate toilet and shower room. However the toilet room was so small and badly designed that when the door opened inwards it practically touched the toilet seat, which meant that you had to squeeze in and out of the room. I would imagine that for larger and less mobile people this could be an issue. The drinks machine for guests had limited options and no takeaway cups available unlike the previous Citadines we had stayed in in Kensington. We had to bring cups down 7 floors from our apartment to be able to use the coffee machine. On arrival there were no dishwasher tablets in the kitchenette. I asked at reception for 2 extra pillows for my daughters and was told we couldn't have any. I fed this back to Citadines and received a terse email with no apologies informing me dishwasher tablets were in the kitchen drawer (they weren't), and extra pills were available in the hallway cupboards (they weren't). I wouldn't choose to stay here again, the Citadines at Montmartre that we stayed in later in the week was much nicer.

Was very happy with Citadine apartment! Went to near grocery store often and breakfast and packed our lunches in our room reducing our restaurant meals to once a day. Lots of restaurants nearby especially liked Jules crepery across the street! Metro and bus lines all so close made getting around paris easy! Loved Paris!

This property is located at the Place d’Italie Paris, M7 station. There are many restaurants, cafe shops surrounding the apartment. Also, there is a shopping mall and a supermarket inside the mall.

Well located, comfortable apartment
Apartment was well equipped and comfortable. Sofa bed extended into 2 single beds which worked better than one bed for my 2 kids. Metro was right outside which was brilliant. Only slight issue was a leak in the bathroom so floor had constant puddle.

Nothing is unique about the property, other than an excellent location. It is just acceptable at an affordable price in a very expensive city. Passengers should not expect standard features in US hotels, like a proper shower and shampoo/conditioning in the bathroom, or regular change of towels and bed sheets -- this happens only after 5 days. The bathroom I got was very small and just had a movable shower -- not a standard shower on top. A just OK breakfast for 15Euro seems a bit expensive, given the good options nearby. The picture in the Expedia site is not consistent with the room I got, and is a bit misleading.

The Citadines property at Place d'Italie is conveniently located to shopping, dining, transportation, and groceries-all great! However, it is located within a larger structure that is currently undergoing significant construction, and there is/are renovations going on inside the property, as well. During a recent stay in late June 2023, the sound of drilling was transmitted through the walls, was loud and started early in the morning! You'll be an early riser for sure!

The location was perfect. It was meters away from a bus stop and 2 metro stations. There was also many nearby grocery stores as well as a Farmer's market on Fridays. for a family, it was in the right location and the rooms were spacious and clean.

The room we stayed in is actually owned by an individual and rented through the hotel. It was kind of strange. The room was very plain and “blah” although it was comfortable. Had a decent breakfast. No daily housekeeping. Location was okay. The city is a few miles away we used Uber. Uber is cheaper than taxi. Our Uber average was 20 euros vs 30 euros for taxi. We checked out and they were kind enough to let us store our bags until the late afternoon

I would not recommend staying here. Here is why: pros: great location. easily accessible via metro cons: The room smells of smoke. The sound insulation is extremely poor. The floors are wood (and not carpeted), so every time someone upstairs drags a chair, you hear it really well. The hair dryer was broken. I only found out after taking a shower. The front desk said they don't have any extra hair dryers. Had to sleep with wet hair. The room needs updating. Everything is very old.

Very Good Hotel
Bed was very comfortable; room and bathroom were clean; kitchen was adequate for cooking with a microwave and two stovetop burners; plenty of dishes, cookware, and utensils; nice to have access to extra towels whenever you needed them; shower head needed replacement - jets were shooting off in random directions which was annoying. Front desk staff was friendly and accommodating; they even escorted us to the closed dining room to get some tea they were out of in the lobby. Very convenient to Metro, shopping, grocery stores, restaurants. Overall, a good choice for a very reasonable rate. Would choose to stay here again.

Transport links are great; lines 7 (pink) and 5 (green) are immediately in front of the hotel. It takes around 17 minutes to get to the Louvre stop from the hotel. Having the little kitchenette was very convenient; it saved us some money as we could have breakfast there - we just popped out to the local patisserie and had coffee and croissants in the room.

We had to break our stay into 3 different bookings due to the unavailability of a single studio for our whole long stay. Stayed in Studio and Apartment. Gaetano from reception was there to help us check-in and he took the initiative to make the arrangements so that we could shift rooms easily and early. Appreciate Gaetano's help otherwise we would have to check out at 11am with all our luggage and then check in again at 3pm each time we changed a room. The property is at the side of a mall with Carrefour Hypermart, retail and restaurants. There are many buses all around the Apart'hotel, within easy walking distance. Metro is just a mere 20-30 steps away. (This was a blessing to us because my partner had a sudden foot tendon inflammation at the start of our trip and couldn't walk far or unaided with his cane.) All guests should be aware by now that the Paris Citadines Apart'hotel has cleaning once a week. Necessities such as fresh towels and loo rolls can be taken from the amenities room with your room card access. Coffee and Tea is provided FOC at both reception and the breakfast room. Just bring your own coffee mugs from the room to take the beverages. The dishwasher and electrical wiring in 2 of the rooms are a little wonky but none of these were issues for us, just work round it. The rooms are comfortable and clean for us and location is fantastic. We will continue to stay in Citadines each time we are in Paris.

We had to break our long holiday at Citadines and book an apartment for one of the days when all studios were fully booked. This is an amazing space that is a little loft-like. Bedroom is adequate with a double bed (small Queen size) and a sofa bed in the kitchen / dining space. Shower and Toilet are separated into 2 different cubicles (separated by a wall) so take note for those who cannot handle it. Our kitchen view was fantastic because you can see the Eiffel Tower in the distance so taking a video of the light-up every hour from 8pm was great! We had the pleasure of service from reception staff (Gaetano and Igor) who are very pleasant professionals!

We had the pleasure of service from Igor and he is one of the most pleasant staff we have encountered thus far. Conversant in English and always ready with his winning smile. Staying in an apart'hotel requires a little knowledge prepared-ness before your stay. Cleaning is once a week and be prepared for minor issues such as a broken dish-washer or some such. Everything can be fixed as long as you communicate this properly with reception and give things a little time to be fixed. As long as you are prepared, you will have a very pleasant stay like we did.

Perfect!
This hotel was amazing! In such a good location right next to the metro and above a shopping centre with a supermarket. The room was lovely, modern and had all you could need. Didn’t hear too much noise from neighbouring rooms. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone!

Room was as described. Small but as expected and met all my needs. Location is perfect and local cafes are directly outside and communicate in English effectively and friendly. Staff at hotel we’re great as well and explained the towel exchange and cleaning schedule.

A pleasant place to go in all ecpects...
This was the first time I stayed "rive gauche" in Paris and I loved it. Place d'Italie is a nice and convenient area for strolling and places to go. All transport means at the step of your door. Great restaurants or places for just a coffee or a bite. And Citadines in the middle of it; really great. Personnel very friendly. They had the patience to listen to my rusty French language; merci. I will certainly come back there, something I'm not used to do, because I like changing places. But Citadines will be an exception. Au revoir Citadines!
