This historic hotel is a gem, hidden on a tiny street just off Rue Rivoli. It’s quiet, charming, and very convenient to so many attractions; the Louvre, Les Halles, Metro station, shopping, dining, My room was a good size and had all the modern conveniences necessary. I would definitely stay here again.

Great place to stay. Tucked away easy access everywhere. Great staff to help with your needs. Rooms perfect and showers with hot water. Breakfast buffet was great. The front desk staff very helpful in getting tickets for events.

Excellent location

Excellent location to visit Paris and good breakfast, close to shop and restaurant, bedrooms are OK but a bit run down: water leakages from the ceiling, support for toothbrush and towel not properly fixed (some rehabilitation might be required) but it does not stop you to enjoy the hotel

As good as it gets for a 3 star hotel in Paris. Well-located, but a bit noisy because of proximity of Rue de Rivoli. Room had a fridge and a safe, which is unusual for a 3-star hotel. Staff very nice.

I liked the 11:30 am checkout, but the room wasn’t ready until 30 minutes after I was supposed to check in. Location is superb, very very close to Chatalet station. Rooms were out dated but for cost and location, I’ll happily stay again!

Large room for Paris

Staying in a hotel in the middle of Paris, our expectations were a very small room. Our room was large (we could open 2 suitcases on the floor). Large bathroom, and outdoor deck. The room was on the 5th floor. Quite and cool (we were there in early Aug). Best hotel that we've stayed in in Paris.

Stayed in the family sized room which was plenty big for our family of 4. All of the staff was very friendly and helpful. This was our first time in Paris so we cannot compare it to other places we have stayed but it definitely has a boutique feel and if you are used to staying in American type hotels this will look different for sure. But the accommodations were plenty comfortable. We regret not having the breakfast downstairs as we didn’t see it until the day we were leaving and it looked fantastic.

This is a 16th century jewel. The room was tiny, yet exquisitely quaint and charming. The staff was friendly and helpful. One man at the desk provided stamps and mailed my postcards for me. Another woman at the desk took photos of us upon seeing us try some selfies. Great restaurants are around the corner and we were within walking distance of Notre Dame and the Louvre. The hotel provides maps and umbrellas. Breakfast was very nice with excellent coffee and plenty of good food.

Rooms and showers are too small, there are no power points for devices (we had to unplug a lamp to charge our phones). Sudenly the alarm started beeping (and were not informed why) we had to leave immediately as that was too noisy. But the worse was we stayed almos 24 hours with no WiFi. A tourist cannot survive with no WiFi. Some staff are friendly, some others indifferent.

Friendly staff, good location close to attractions and metro station. Cute room. Good cleaning. Breakfast ok, although quite few healthy options. Instant coffee was not brought to the room after the first day, had to be requested separately. Would have been nice to know in advance that the building across the street was under renovation. Loud noise from morning till evening, so paying for the balcony room was pointless as you couldn't enjoy yourself there. Overall experience still very nice!

We booked 3 rooms for three nights for a group of five, partly for the wonderfully central location and price but also for the historic nature of the hotel, which we all loved. The Superior Double room was beautiful but unfortunately faced a building currently being renovated with workmen starting at 8.00am. One of the two Classic Double rooms had the same problem but the other faced a light well. We didn't have the breakfast so can't comment on that. There are plenty of nice cafes and bars close by. Would certainly return once work on the building opposite is completed and hope the work planned on the hotel itself will preserve the quirky romantic charm which makes it so special.
