Very charming little hotel. Clean and breakfast had a great selection. Very walkable restaurants and shops near by and short walk to Luxemberg garden.

The experience was wonderful and very French. The staff was friendly and attentive and the rooms, although small (very typically French), were clean and comfortable. The neighborhood couldn’t have been more perfect, it had everything you could want and yet was very quiet and safe. One odd ball thing of note to US visitors, you will have to be greeted every time you leave and return to the hotel. This sounds strange but you leave your key with the front desk upon exiting and then ask for it back upon return. We got use to it after a while and it wasn’t much of a problem in the end. Overall, everyone in our group was happy with this choice.

This hotel is located in the heart of old Paris, close to the Louvre, the Odeon, the Seine, delightful cafes and bakeries and many, many shops. The rooms are small, but adequate and very clean. However if you are claustrophobic don’t use the elevator!

Stayed as a solo traveler. Walkable to trains, 44 min walk to Eifel, desirable neighborhood. Felt like Paris. I loved it. Would def go back if I was to visit Paris. For people complaining about small bathroom it really wasn't that small and there are windows to vent fresh air after a nice hot shower with great water pressure which is something you don't find often in Europe!

A beautiful little hotel, with clean room and bathroom. Great selection daily for breakfast. Staff helpful. But most importantly the local is ideal, within walking distance of Notre-Dame Same and the Sorbonne. Metro station only a 2 min walk away, and mainline station only a 7 min walk away, with a plethora of bus stops close to the hotel too. We will be back! X

It located very close to Odeon. Quiet and clean small cute hotel. My room was small but cozy with a view from the balcony. No air conditioning. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

The room was well appointed and comfortable. It had everything needed for a pleasant stay. I would definitely stay here again. Everything is walkable. I walked to Notre Dame, to La Marais, Shakespeare and Company, palace of Cite, it's jconvenient, a perfect place to stay. There are lots of restaurants and shopping. Anything you want is at your fi fertips to make your vacation most enjoyable.

The walls are too thin. The doors are improperly cut. THE NOISE is the reason I gave a low score. YOU CAN HEAR YOUR NEIGHBORS COUGH. The cleaners are loud early in the morning.

Grand Hotel des Balcons is my new go to hotel! The rooms are tiny but they’re spotless. No bedbugs!!! Plenty of hot water and good water pressure. No bad smells. One person elevator. Cheerful and friendly staff will help you make reservations if you need that. Breakfast is typical meats, cheeses, fruit, croissants, pain au chocolat, scrambled eggs, sausages, potatoes and more. Really good coffee. Bed and pillows are comfy. It’s on a quiet one way street but just two blocks from Blvd St Germain. the courtyard side rooms are very quiet. 24 hour staffing at front desk. Enough sockets to plug in 2-3 items. No dresser in the smaller rooms but they have shelving and closet space to hang things. Every room has floor to ceiling windows that open. In room safe. The rooms are cleaned daily. No tubs. They provide body wash/shampoo and small bars of soap. Hair dryer. Towels are replaced if you leave them on the floor. Towel warmer, great for drying things you’ve washed in the sink. Bathroom fan actually works. The shower is the walk in type with drain in the floor and shower curtain so the whole bathroom doesn’t get wet. The shower sprayer removes and the height is adjustable. Flat screen tv but no English channels. Best budget hotel in a great area, the 6th arrondissement. Walkable to so many things. ❤️

Amazing place to stay, super friendly and helpful staff. And a perfect location to get around the city on foot or by public transport. Also lots of restaurants in close proximity. I had booked a twin room as that was all that was available and they upgraded me to a double room free of charge.

The hotel was a little out of the centre of Paris which but walkable to things like Louvre. Little far to walk to other sites. I used Uber a lot but there was a local metro just around the corner. Check in wasnt until later in the day at normal times and they did have a luggage room that you could leave cases in. Elevator/lift was tiny so be prepared for multiple trips if you have family or more than one or two small cases. Rooms are a little on the small side but it's all I needed. Area is quiet and safe.

The property was all that I could hope for on our trip to Paris! It was central to all the major sights my husband and I wanted to visit! The amount of options for cafes is endless and wonderful as we are early risers and love to walk and explore! I would definitely recommend this hotel and would love to come back for another trip! The staff was very friendly, helpful and hospitable! The establishment was also very clean and quiet. Definitely recommend staying here if you want to be in the middle of it all in Paris!

My family and I stayed here for 5 nights. The hotel is about 5 min walk from the nearest Metro lines. It's also near several restaurants and bars. The room is spacious - we booked a triple room. It's very clean. Staff were friendly and are very responsive. I'll definitely stay here again.

The only recommendation .. better wifi .. cant watch anything on the TV so its hard to keep entertain for a little time you get to spend in the room. Otherwise, id highly recommend this place. We will be back.

We enjoyed our stay at Grand Hotel des Balcons. The hotel is conveniently located close to the Metro and the area is safe and walkable. The hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful. The breakfast offered eas wonderful with a good selection of both hot and cold options. Our room was good sized with two balconies overlooking the street, and very little street noise. We also had a bath tub, which was a huge plus for me. I would definitely stay here again.

What a gem ! This lovely hotel was quiet but also within walking distance from major attractions . The breakfast was wonderful and staff , so accommodating. A special thanks to Gwendal for his kindness and patience in answering my many questions .

Excellent hotel and very "reasonably" priced for a Paris hotel. The room was small but typical for Paris. I highly recommend the breakfast that is available for approx. 12 Euros.

This hotel was clean, the staff were excellent and the location as well. The rooms were a little on the small side, but we didn’t have to pay a fortune for the room either. The lack of ac was a little trying as the weather was warm and humid.
