Rooms were decent size and warmed up well with heater. Beds were comfortable. Lift was very small. Bathroom quite small. Can hear people in other rooms. Floor above was cleaning could hear loud scraping However, good area and decent clean hotel.

Excellent location and easy access nearby metro stations. Very friendly staff, comfy and clean rooms. My only complain is that the hotel has no AC, it was quite hot when we stayed.

Would stay there again.
Our stay was lovely. Staff were friendly and accommodating, the room was comfortable and the location was perfect for getting all around the city. Would definitely stay at Hotel d’Argenson again!

Accessible to all the hotspots. Very friendly staff. Room cleaning and replenishing of toiletries. No air conditioning available, but windows and a fan worked ok.

This hotel was nothing like what it presented itself in its website. We had no WIFI… no amenities of any kind… and it was priced almost double what we paid at a far superior hotel in Nice.

Dear Sir, We really apologize for the inconvenience of the problem we are having with the wifi connection, but there is an external problem with the fiber optic internet connection with our orange internet provider and we have been waiting for them to solve the problem . We offered you to use the "Wifi 4g" available at reception and you said it wasn't worth it and you seem to have used it elsewhere.You stayed in one of our best Familly rooms and with all the amenities you may need, for the price, we remeind you that Paris is more expensive then Nice, and April is one of the lowest price at Nice too, try to go there in july or August, may be you will pay 3 or 4 times more then Paris. Warmest regards

The front desk staff was super helpful and made our stay great. The room was very small and had some damage - light fixture pulled off wall and shelf which was loose and breaking from wall. The room was renovated though so looked great and all very clean - location was excellent for walking to lots of sights and transit.

Good hotel, can walk to many sights
A nice budget hotel in central locations with good transport connections. We came early for our check-in and were told by the pleasant man at the reception that our room would be ready at 3pm. We went for a walk, came back at 3pm, and he told us that we have got a room upgrade from a comfort room to a family room. The room was huge for Parisian standards, there was even a table with 4 chairs. It had a period (non-functioning) fireplace, high ceilings and other original features. There was a painting/picture with the Eiffel tower on the wall which we could admire from bed. There was a kettle with tea, coffee and milk. The storage space was good. The soundproofing was good, there were two double-glazed windows with a space between them. The lightning was the only thing for which we recommend some improve as it was not quite adequate for working on a computer. The bathroom was good size with 1 shampoo and 1 shower gel for 2 people. Very recommended: Good value for money, good service, many sights and shopping destinations within walking distance.

Excellent Experience
The room is big, clean, quiet and well equipped. The furnitures are very nice with really comfortable beds. The bathroom is very good. I was in the hotel in december and the room heating was excellent. And of course the hotel's location is in one of the best places in Paris. Reception is good and helpful.

Very small and not clean
The room and the bathroom are extremely small, ok if you are staying 2 nights and spend most of your time outside your room. The most disappointing thing is that the room as not been cleaned well, even the mug I have used for coffee has been left with leftover coffee in it as well as tea/coffee/milk have not been replaced (so couldn't make myself another hot drink on my second day). The room was also extremely humid, in fact the curtains were completely soaked in the morning which is not really ideal. On the positive side, the hotel is dog friendly.

Gorgeous rooms with gorgeous views
Beautiful views and gorgeous hotel with Parisian ceilings and a fireplace in our room! Choose the 5th floor for the best views if you don’t mind stairs. Walking distance (sub-20 minutes) from Champs Elysées and Arc de Triomphe. Staff very friendly and accommodating, would book again!

D’Argenson would be a good choice for a 2 star stay in Paris in any circumstance, but add the fact that they do not charge pet fees (!!!), and it becomes the best choice in Paris. Bonus for the breakfast delivered to your room, nice touch!

Lovely hotel, super clean and convenient. Very helpful staff. A lot of people wrote about the construction but I did not here anything. Located in a very nice quaint neighborhood just the right distance from the touristy areas. So much better than what I expected, the rooms and bathrooms are trendy and freshly updated. Definitely more than a 3 star hotel! Stations are very close. I would look no where else to stay again.
