Clean rooms. Small but charming. Across from park. Close to two metro stops. Great breakfast but cost of breakfast and taxes not included in Orbitz price. Friendly front desk English speaking people. Have stayed there several times

The pictures of the hotel were not accurate. The garden was not at all like it appeared in the photos. The mirror in the bedroom was broken and our fridge did not work. Even though we told them, it was not fixed in the 4 days we were there. They did let us use their fridge but there was limited space. The staff, however, was very nice, helping us get directions to places and figuring out the metro. The hotel was a little inconvenient in little street away from restaurants and stores. It was quiet though and the metro was a 5-10 minute walk.

Lovely, friendly hotel opposite a beautiful park and a peaceful garden. Great for kids too (we had a 5 and 6yo). We’ll definitely stay here again when we come back to Paris!

Wonderful hotel in a charming, less-explored part of Paris. The staff was tremendously helpful. We arrived at 6 am and they allowed us to use a room until ours was ready. They went above and beyond in helping us get an appointment that we needed. Beautifully decorated rooms not too far from the metro with a shopping mall several blocks away that had everything one could possibly need. Truly outstanding hotel.

I love le Vert Galant! I have been staying there since 1998 when I read a review that said one would be as cozy as Floppsie and Moppsie. They were right!

This family-owned, small hotel has a garden in back and a park in front. The room was comfortable and clean. Walking distance to two metro stations. The street itself doesn't have much in the way of services but the surrounding neighborhoods have cafes, restaurants, groceries, pharmacies, boulangeries, etc. The staff were all very gracious. I was disappointed that the Basque restaurant was closed for renovations but hope to try it when I come back!

For the price this is a great basic hotel. We stayed for 7 nights, very peaceful with rooms facing the interior garden. The room was spotless and the bed comfortable. The restaurant run by the owners is Basque and well known. Three metro stations are within 5 - 10 minutes walk and an award winning boulangerie on Blvd Auguste Blanchi. The Buttes-aux-Cailles is a happening neighbourhood with lots of restaurants about 10 minutes walk. We would happily stay there again.

A peaceful place in Paris is hard to find, but this is such a place! The owners and staff are kind and helpful, friendly and welcoming. We took the optional breakfast which was simple and set us up for the day. Our room was spacious, clean and had everything we needed including an excellent shower in the spotless bathroom. Unfortunately wet weather kept us from using the garden but it was a little oasis among the buildings. We also ate excellent food in the attached restaurant. We really hope to return as we appreciated it all so much.

Lovely internal garden. Pleasant staff. Since the room's only window opened directly on the garden, it was necessary to keep the curtains closed at all times for any privacy. Also didn't feel comfortable opening the door at night for air. Otherwise, delightful small hotel and I would return.

A cosy hotel, simple, with a discrete elegance and comfortable - the bed I slept in was very good. I had lunch at the restaurant once and the food was very well cooked. The staff and hotel owner were very attentive and friendly. The garden adds up a lot. I would just recommend making some works here and there, the room might need a little wall painting but all in all, I had a great stay and would certainly come back!

Great stay! But I expected more for the price I paid. The staff is really nice, the location was good for what we needed. The hotel main door is locked at night or when there's no one at the reception and some times it takes time to find someone to open the door. It was a bit cold in the room, they gave us a hitter but they took it from the room the day after without asking.

Neighborhood gem
We have stayed in this hotel several times, and it never disappoints. It has a family feel, cozy and personal in its service. Lovely setting with interior courtyard. Great location in a historic district with excellent transportation options. The restaurant next-door provides excellent food and attentive service in a cozy atmosphere. A charming place to stay at a reasonable price.

This is our home away from home in Paris. Great location with Metro and bus close by. Lovely garden, terrific restaurant, cozy rooms. We appreciate having a kitchenette. The staff is outstanding. Friendly, always ready to help.

The rooms are clean and tidy and the hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood with easy access to metro. Friendly services from Ingrid. The only minor point is that often there is no one at the reception but you should be able to find them at the restaurant next door usually.

Overview of hotel and the area around
I was staying in this hotel to be close to an event I have attended in Paris . Itbis a very residential quiet area . Hotel is small but my room on 2 Nd floor was big and very nice ! You have refrigerator in the room , can ask for a kettle , cups etc . There is a nice small restaurant right here as part of hotel . Basic breakfast is very convenient or I was offered a free cup of coffee couple times I stopped in . Hotel is 5-10 mins away from Metro lines 5,6,7 . You can get to all major sights under 45 mins . Metro is running real well and 2-3 mins waiting times . There is a small bakery like a block away and some other restaurants a few blocks away ... Stuff in hotel is very friendly !! They also can arrange a shuttle to airports and price is like 3 times cheaper than taxi . So , if you want nice but affordable place in a peaceful area of Paris , I would highly recommend this hotel .

This hotel was excellent. We chose it because it was near the train stations and not where most tourists hang out. We also heard that the staff was helpful which we found to be true especially Ingred. Loved the green spaces.

Attractive, quiet hotel in a pleasant part of Pari
Le Vert Galant is an established unpretentious family hotel with a delightful interior garden to which the ground floor rooms have access. The bedrooms are of good size, with table space and easy chairs. Our room had a lavatory separate from the bathroom, which was good. The staff are friendly and don't bother you. Next door is the excellent sister restaurant. I have stayed here before and would happily do so again.

old structure, the walls are very thin, you can hear everything from the neighbors, but the unacceptable thing is that it doesn't have air conditioning, you couldn't sleep due to the heat, you sweat at night, it's not acceptable that in 2023 it doesn't have the air conditioners.

Petit hôtel absolument charmant et situé dans un environnement très calme au coeur de Paris. Je n'ai eu qu'un seul hic: j'avais réservé une place de parking, j'ai sorti mon vl dans la soirée et au retour plus l'emplacement était occupé. Par chance il y avait des places dans la rue. la location de la place m'a été décomptée.

Ein sehr nettes kleines Hotel in ruhiger Gegend. In unmittelbarer Nähe gute Restaurants. Metro nur ein paar Minuten entfernt. Man kann auch sehr gut zu Fuß die Gegend erkunden. Der Empfang im Hotel war super freundlich. Alle sind sehr hilfsbereit und geben gute Tipps für Unternehmungen. Die Tiefgarage direkt beim Hotel ist super. Wir hatten das Auto drei Tage nicht gebraucht und es war sicher abgestellt.
