The experience was lovely. Check in was quick and easy, front desk staff were friendly and good at their job. Beds were big! I also liked the fun high fashion theme. My only criticism is that the bathroom does not have enough circulation, leading to minor mold growth in the corners of the shower. Many bathrooms have this and it's usually harmless, but fixing this or being more proactive in cleaning it will make everything perfect.

Value for money

Mercure Hotels are one of our favourite chains. The staff is always very friendly and helpful, the beds are comfortable and the breakfasts are always good quality. The two things I would mention is that both regular milk and non-dairy bottles were filled and refilled without cleaning, so were both sour and the coffee wasn't great quality. It's in a great neighbourhood with lots of amenities and 3 Metro lines.

I booked this hotel because I took a tour to the Normandy D-Day beaches which started just across the street. So I went there for totally functional purposes, and it was fine. My first room had poor air conditioning. No problem. They moved me to another room, and I had a great night's sleep. Both rooms were clean and the showers were great. This is a perfectly fine hotel in a nice part of town. No issues!!

Could be better for the money.

On arrival we found the lady on reception very friendly. We left our bags while we waited in the room to be available. Was disappointed with the facilities in the room. Limited channels on the tv, only two English speaking. Only one chair. The air on didn’t work. The biggest disappointments were that there was no milk supplied to make use of the sparse tea making items. There was nowhere to hang anything in the small bathroom other than one small hook on the door. When travelling with more than one of you, this is very annoying. The most dangerous thing was the shower was extremely slippy underfoot. We did ask at reception for a rubber mat but were told they don’t have any. My Mum is unsteady on her feet so this was a major problem which meant we had to use the floor mat inside the shower to make it safe. On a plus point, the breakfast was plentiful. The reception staff were all nice. The rooms was quiet and the location good.

The staff at this hotel was excellent. My friend and I enjoyed the neighborhood and found many great shops and restaurants nearby. We appreciated staying a little outside the busy center of the city, but close to a major metro station. Our room was quiet and clean. I highly recommend this hotel.

The room was a typical, small, Paris hotel room, but the overall standard of the hotel was not in line with other Mercure hotels. Breakfast, in particular, was especially disappointing, hidden away in the basement and with a very limited selection of average quality food. Location of the hotel is good if you need to be in the Place d'Italie area, but I wouldn't choose to stay here again otherwise.

Big thanks to the reception staff, they were very friendly and happy to help. The staff during the breakfast was worse, noone to ask for refill the food, the tables weren’t clean with desinfiction after use.. The room for 3 was very large as I didnt expext due to my experience in Paris. Also very clean, beds comfy. I appreciated the refill bottle for the room, very good idea! Thanks for everything
