"We stayed at the Line Hotel in June 2026 for our anniversary, This is my favorite hotel In Austin because of the beautiful view of town lake. Stay in a high floor and request a view of Town Lake. We would like to thank Carolina who upgraded us to the “Bridge Suite” on the 7th and it was very spacious, clean and comfortable. The pool was crowded but there were plenty of towels and seating for everyone. Even busy the line at the bar was only 2 people. Place your order for Veracruz tacos early because they take a while but are SO worth the wait. The Barbacoa was so tasty! Later that evening we watched the bats from our room just after the sun set. Always fun! In the morning the room service arrived on time and everything was prepared perfectly. In my opinion you can judge a hotel by how the room service operates, and this was perfect. The açaí bowl was delicious. The only one thing was that one side of the room looked down onto the AC/maintenance part of the building, but we had 3 sets of windows so that did not bother me. We did not eat at Arlo Grey but have before and it’s good - the idea is to sit next to the window so you can watch the boats go by on town lake. We love this hotel and will be back!"

"The larger suite was the perfect size! We unpacked but realized very quickly that our a/c was not working. We called the front desk, and they said they would move us but never followed up. I had to be proactive, so we ended up getting all of our belongings and headed to the front desk to get our room switched. The second room was smaller, but comfortable. Overall, it was comfortable and the bar had pretty good drinks."

"I loved the little touches like the fresh eucalyptus in the shower. I was hoping for more of a peaceful environment. I didn’t realize it was a place where people came to party. If that’s what you love, I think you will find it there. By the time I was able to get in the pool there had been so many people drinking in there that I felt kind of weird about it. Maybe during the week would have been a different experience."

"The hotel was beautiful and the rooms were very nice. The bad: hotel lost power for no apparent reason for an hour or so. Elevator service was spotty at best The pool was way over crowded and filthy. The hotel doesn’t claim ownership of this pool even though it sits on their roof. They allow folks to come in that aren’t staying at the hotel which accounts for the overcrowding"

"The hotel has a terrible smell upon entrance. Some may be ok with that, however this is a luxury hotel. It should have a luxury ambience. The other part is that the Tommie hotel also connects to it, so you should just book there for half the co. It’s literally the same lobby, bars, pool, etc. You can really just stay there for half the cost, the Thomas was not worth the money overall a 3 star experience"
