"Overall a very nice stay for 2 Nights. The room was a good size and clean. Beds were comfortable. Good soundproofing. It was nice to have a bit of a lobby to site and an outside seating area in front of the hotel. Hotel location was excellent and convenient for old town main square area and to the train station. Lots of restaurants nearby as well as a small Rewe grocery store. It was very hot during our stay so it would have been good for the hotel to set-up a cold water station in the lobby. We opted not to do the breakfast as we felt we couldn’t do the price justice. It would have been helpful to have a small fridge in the room. We would definitely stay at this hotel again."

"We were in one of the suites which was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was continental, of good quality and variety although we did not know the kitchen cooked eggs to order until the last morning. Our main issue was staff helpfulness. Staff were generally good but we had a real issue with the attitude of the hotel manageress. On our first night we booked into the restaurant and were shown to a table. Some minutes later the manageress advised this was booked by someone else which wasn't an issue as we were dining with friends one of whom is disabled and may have had an issue with the table allocated. I was trying to explain this and looking for a better option when she turned her back on me and started a conversation with someone else. Our German guests also encountered her on arrival and were not impressed with her manner or attitude which they felt was due to the fact she thought they were English. On our last night our room had not been serviced when we returned from our day out at 4pm. We approached the receptionist to report this and she was using the computer next to the manageress who made eye contact with me and then carried on doing what she was doing rather than ask how she could help. I waited a minute and then had to interupt to report the issue. Even when we returned later it had not been done and I had to stand at reception arguing with her before the matter was resolved.We paid a great deal of money to stay here but this level of service is not acceptable ."

"An immaculate hotel in every aspect. Staff amazing and attentive wherever they work. The bar is very welcoming and chilled and not stuffy like some hotel bars and has a great selection of drinks whilst expensive are not extortionate. The breakfast is plentiful and there is something for everyone. Great stay and would highly recommend."

"Lovely hotel with friendly staff. Plenty to choose from for breakfast. Rooms were clean and comfortable. A 15/20 minute walk into the town along the river. Would recommend a stay here. "
