"Really just the only choice to stay in Kansas City. Why? Well, the hotel is quite perfect in quality and cleanliness. The rooms are very large. The rooms are very quiet. The hotel is built into the side of mountain rock where the natural rock is actually the hotel wall; along with a waterfall inside as well, of course. There is an entire inside "mall" attached to the hotel (through one flight of stairs) where many different stores offer shopping with multiple themes. There are a few choices for morning coffee just steps from your room. There is a nicely appointed bar in the lobby for coffee in the morning and also drinks at night. Yet above all of this "basic stuff", there are 4 enclosed pathways from the hotel, extending over the streets to Union Train Station, Hallmark Cards, and other shops that are great in general, but excellent in case of any bad weather. Last and maybe most important, is the location. The FREE Kansas City Streetcar is right there and can take you to Westport, Country Club Plaza, Union Station, or even north to the River Front. THAT benefit cannot be stressed enough!! You will see 75% of Kansas City offerings to tourists via this streetcar, and not pay a dime for it! Stores, Restaurants, Clubs, Bars and Entertainment are all very plentiful because of this streetcar addition. So when you look at the COST for staying at The Crown Center Hotel, you MUST stop to consider that if you save a few bucks, your stay will drop from an A+ do a C- as a consequence."
"Great Staff. I accidentally left my credit card at the hotel restaurant and I was messaged by the hotel staff that it was found. Great bar. Very clean rooms."
"Solid for the price. Nice location. Breakfast was just okay. The bagels were odd tasting, and the hashbrowns were stale. The rest was fine and pretty standard. I would stay here again."
