"Great rest stop on our way to Rome. There is no direct access to the lake (it's about a 2 km walk/drive from the hotel), but the hotel is clean and nice. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly, and the free continental breakfast was wonderful! Great selection of pastries, and two very excellent coffee/cappuccino machines. Overall, a great place to rest, in a quiet, peaceful area."

"I am a British Traveller who was staying for 4 nights. The Hotel was super easy to find, is a fairly large complex. Lots of Parking, it did get busy on a Saturday night parking wise but still managed to find a space. Staff were super friendly and spoke good English, directions to my room were clear and information about the bar/restaurant were good. "We stayed at Il Gabbiano whilst attending a family wedding at Castillo Borgia. The location was perfect, we could walk to the castle if needs be and very near to shuttle guests. The staff at Il Gabbiano were fantastic, really friendly and helpful. The pool was great. The rooms were clean - maybe could do with a bit better shower but over all good value. The restaurant and pizzeria were excellent. We had a wonderful 5 days thanks to Gianni and his staff. Would recommend. "

"The hosts were super friendly and offered to extend dinner time in their restaurant when I arrived late. Also gave indications of how to move around. The hotel is 20 mins walk to Montepulciano and 25 mins walk from the bus station. It has a great pool and Spa that can be used by paying an extra fee. The rooms were ok, not super spacious, but had a small fridge and balcony."
