The manager waited for us just a little after 9pm (which was the limit for the check in timing) and we highly appreciate that gesture The room was very clean and quiet, and we loved the decor (plus the banana bread!) "It’s exactly what I needed a few blocks from the station at my budget price. Everything was recently renovated brand, new clean and functioning and the location to walk. The entire city in a day was perfect and there’s luggage storage on the next block after you check out because this is not a full service hotel. There’s no front desk but everything was perfect."

Annoying €10 charge if you use more than your ‘permitted’ linens and towels. Little interesting dining nearby. As with many of the managed properties, too many people involved in communication/checkin. I stay in hotels/rentals >300 nights/year"

"Good service throughout our stay. Rooms clean and well maintained. We paid extra for breakfast and the quality and range of food was decent. Plenty bars and restaurants within walking distance feom the hotel. Piazza Maggiore only a 15min walk from the hotel. Train station less than 5min walk. Stayed with family including a 9YO. Would stay again if visiting Bologna."
