The hotel staff were friendly. The hotel was convenience getting to Walking Street. The park garage was open and free to park. I loved the walk in shower and see through windows in the bath.

For me, it was an accident location. You can walk out the front door in any direction to get to everything you need. The pool bar food was an excellent option and the restaurant in the lobby was an excellent option. Room was modern and clean. Staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable.

Overall a great stay. The staff were all excellent, so friendly and helpful, always smiling and greeting us every time. The hotel is very clean and always smelling fresh. They have a barista in the lobby with great coffee and cake. The check in was very fast and efficient. The room was clean, modern, well appointed. The size of the room is great, big with plenty of room for two people and luggage. We had three large suitcases. Plenty of power points and USB charging points. The bed was large, very comfortable as to the pillows. The shower was also large, great water pressure and plenty of hot water. The location is also great. About 5 minutes to the beach. Plenty of restaurants and bars surrounded the hotel. A 7 Eleven was just around the corner for quick grabs and a supermarket about a 2 minute walk away. We highly recommend staying at the Amethyst, you won’t regret it.

What a great little hotel, very reasonable price, 3 blocks to the beach but the real stand out was the staff. All of them were attentive, helpful and very pleasant especially Peemai on the front desk who always greeted me with her lovely smile. The hotel is very modern and well appointed.

Hotel is nice, but breakfast is not so good! Staff is nice, rooms are nice and clean. NO REFRIGERATOR in the rooms!!! Only a cooler, which does not keep coll anything. I gave 3 out of 5 stars, only because of those 2 things. The hotel is operating more then a year now. Too many people are complaining about the breakfast. Selection is poor and quality also. Charge an extra $5 for each breakfast, but make it a memorable one, not like now.
