"Really helpful and friendly staff, but this is Thailand so it is expected. Rooms are very modern and outstanding for the price. Location is really good. Right next to the beach and Soi 6, which could be good or bad depending on your perspective. This is Pattaya, so you are not likely visiting on a family holiday, if you know what I mean. The other guests when I stayed were predominantly Indian and Chinese, again neither good nor bad, just an observation. Good breakfast, including decent espresso."

"On arrival, the whole premises was a WOW to me. through the winding entrance, I was led to a spacious reception and everything was the standard of "The Standard". The staff members were very helpful, helping with all the questions I raised efficiently. The room was comfortable with a good view. The staff member in the air-conditioned restaurant was not quite responsive, and I chose to dine at the Mexican one, getting drenched into the sea breeze and the staff members were very responsive and interactive. I had a wonderful time in the restaurant. The breakfast was quite disappointing; I was the first one to attend the venue at around 0645, but most of the hot food was not heated up properly. The congee should be otherwise prepared warm enough but in the end, it was lukewarm."
