Classy place right on the beach
really nice. Location right on the beach, where the fishing boats land. Lovely design with beautiful traditional Art, 2 nice pools. Kids and parents loved it.

The Royal Heritage Pavilion is a beautiful h hotel. But they don't understand customer service. First when you check in everyone must give a 1000 baht deposit Ok bad enough but they make you stand there for 5 minutes while the desk clerk fumbles about writing up a receipt. Why don't they prepare the receipts in advance? Next they only give one one room key and charge you 500 baht deposit for the 2nd key and again another 5 minutes waiting for the receipt. Next the room as nice and large with a great view but. Only 3 hangers in the closet empty minibar. No coffee cream or sugar. No kettle for heating water (it took 3 phone calls and a trip down to the desk to get a kettle) only 2 medium size towels and 2 face towels. The internet kept going out and had to be reset. Only a 32inch tv in a premium room. When i ordered a in room massage the door man warned me that if it took over 1 hour that my wife and i would be charged a joiner fee of 1000 baht. Overall a 4 star hotel with 2 star service.

not value for money,if you bring a guest back they charge you additional fee of 1000 bhat, although the room was booked for 1 plus.we checked out 2 days earlier, as the staff was not very friendly. would never stay there again or ever recommend to any one

Nice pool.
Ok but not much in area. Need a car to get around. Pool was nice. Aircon in room not great. No tea or coffee in room. Breakfast not great but ok.

Close to beach
Beds were as hard as cement, breakfast was only catering for Chinese. Chinese groups were loud. We stayed 10 nights and hardly slept. Swim up room was nice but that’s all. There were no amenities in room. No glasses, tea, coffee. It wasn’t a hotel I would return to. The staff were lovely though. That’s the only positive.

Solid 3.5 rating be careful of extra charges
Clean hotel, all Thai staff is friendly but they ask for a 1000Thb per room at check in but most Thai hotels do as for this. Hotel is out of the was across the road from the beach, this was quite and far enough from the busy night life to make sleeping enjoyable. Breakfast was very bland but if you ask they will make you Omelets but don’t advertise that fact. At check in, you are told what is free water.. ect but when you leave they tell you there are different types of water and you must pay. Word of advice if you have anything that you didn’t bring yourself be prepared to pay for it. The pool is beautiful but always cold if you or your kids are going to use but in the heat it’s a nice option to have. If the price is right I would recommend this hotel. I would give it a solid 3.5 rating

Lack of service and attention
while the Hotel rooms are acceptable, the staff attitude and Service isn't. Arrived in the parking garage, no one showed up to help with the lugage, no security. Had to bring up the luggage ourselves, no Elevator. Check in took ages since the first Lady could not find Reservations, we had 2 rooms. Rooms are listed as luxury suites, but actually a bit bare, coffee Cups are there, but no coffee, no spoons. Comment from reception: we have group travel from China, and the small items always disappear. Pool had chairs, but no cushions. This could be a nice Hotel, if the Management would direct attention at customer Service. At this Level, not again for us

No coffee !
Second time we have styed at hotel, staff friendly and helpful. Only two small complaints. The mould around the bath needs to be taken care, its a simple job to remove & reseal the bath, it lets the room down. Kettle and cup supplied in room but no coffee !! shame.

WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT
On arrival, didn't feel welcome. Paid for hotel transfers but still had to pay and extra 1500 baht. each way. No welcome drink on arrival. Room was ok but walls were dirty.

My partner felt unsafe, while in the shower staff walked into the room even though the LED do not disturb was on, they even had to joke about it when we saw the same guy in reception the next morning. Checkout staff were rude. Overall it felt like young thugs were working, it wasn't a good feeling. Hotel was cheap so you pay for what you get.

Adequate Hotel at quiet end of Jomtien Beach
Hotel consists of two parts, the front being the original and the new (Heritage) at the rear, but sharing the same not-so-easily seen entrance from a driver's perspective. If visiting, look out for two cream signs mounted one above the other. Breakfast looked OK but nothing was hot, including the coffee. Tried again another day but much earlier. Sadly much the same, nothing was hot. People considering the poolside rooms should pay caution as one needs to be a little agile, not so much for entering the pool but for getting out as there are no steps (wasn't on my section anyway). If you require a hotel in the quiet sector of Jomtien beach, this is quite adequate. There is plenty of local transport passing by the Hotel, so no problem getting around. Room had a small kettle but strangely no tea bags or coffee so bring your own.

Great hotel, but empty
Stayed in this hotel for one week, very nice hotel, but very empty. The only time I seen other hotel guest was at the breakfast buffet and that was 3-4 other hotel guest. Very kind of eerie being in such a quiet hotel. Great hotel if you like quiet. Little hard to find street food near hotel, but easy 10 baht bus ride to Jomtien night market for good food. Breakfast in hotel I rate 6 out of 10 because food was cold most of the time and the bread was hard from being left out for long periods of time. Room is clean for the most part only complaint is the outside patio area where the room connects to the pool was kind of dirty and had ants but the hotel in general is very clean and always being cleaned by hotel staff.

Nice balcony but could not use it for the first half of our stay due to bird droppings. Maid finally cleaned it after third time we asked. Bathroom had a very unpleasant smell all the time and room floor was still wet from being cleaned one day so I used one of the towels to dry it. Afterward that towel was black, started out white. Pool had green algie growing in every corner.

nice hotel on quiet beach
I stayed here for a week, very quiet area of Pattaya. Staff was pleasant, room was nice. Unfortunately was farther from downtown Pattaya, shopping etc then I wanted. However once I learned the bus system 10BHT a direction it was great.

Precious WIFI
If the WIFI is included why the hell do i need to constantly be longing in with a new password and user name every day, or every time I connect to a different router in the hotel. Like everyone else I have a laptop and a cellphone that i need to connect. This was a constant headache and frustration. Breakfast was poor, especially the pastries that where consistently stale for the entire week, or maybe desiccated would be a better word. Coffee was instant coffee but at least it was strong. Lots of people chewing with their moths open. In room air conditioning is nice but don't expect to get any sleep unless you own noise canceling headphones.

the stay is lousy, i have book a pool access room and i was told the pool cannot be use for the next two days.A day before we check out we have book a mini bus from the hotel but on the day when we check out the mini bus does not show up and after 4 hours with numerous check and lot of excuses from the hotel staff the bus finally arrived.

Great hotel in Jomtien for a quiet getaway
Excellent value here. I had an ocean view room which was very spacious and well maintained. Hotel staff, although not very strong with english (common in the area) were very pleasant and helpful. The breakfast buffet was decent... a little repetitive but prepared well enough. I only docked them a point on the hotel facilities because the lower pool barely gets any sunlight due to how the hotel was constructed, making it a bit of a waste. A point was also docked for room comfort because the beds are VERY firm. If you're used to a pillow top mattress, this might be a bit of an extreme. It's also a ways down Jomtien beach from the night market and other action, but a few baht and you can jump on a tuktuk to get there in 10 minutes.

Well done Royal Heritage!!!
This is my third time staying at this hotel and I have only praises for the improved overall standards and general well being of my stay. Room was spacious and clean and everything works well including the wifi and the check in/out process was very smooth. The new car park is quite large and the breakfast spread is pretty delicious. The staff are most excellent. So, well done again and I will return again soon.
