"Trying to get checked in was a bit of a problem, but was resolved quickly. The room was clean, but we were a bit bothered/concerned by a vent in the shower with a green light in it. The light appeared to come on when the fan in the bathroom was activated. "
"Clean room but a tad pricey considering it's a no amenities motel. Check-in is inside their coffee shop which gave it a very quaint vibe. Road noise is very loud but the loud AC running continuously drowned that out. Not enough hooks to hang items but the mini fridge with microwave was very convenient. The post office is literally next door. Same for the tasty pizza shop. Lights are too bright here to sit outside and enjoy the stars but this is a quaint part of town that is only a 15-10 minute drive to Bryce and even closer to the Mossy Cave Trail. We may not stay here again but no complaints. "
"Had a lovely 2 night stay at Happy Trails B&B on a vacation with my dad. Room was clean and in great working condition. Shower was a bit small but manageable. The main building is a bit older so it can be a bit noisy at times when you’re on the first floor as the floors are creaky. The room had a portable heater/AC tower which helped a lot in minimizing noise at night. Washer and dryer were accessible, free, and a great help after a day in Bryce hiking. Breakfast was fresh and delicious! There’s an bbq area and fire pit out back which we also enjoyed. All in all, I definitely would recommend Happy Trails B&B for visitors to Bryce as it’s close to the park and comfortable accommodations. "
"Overall, I would not recommend this hotel.
First, the front desk staff was not friendly at all. When I asked, “Can I check in?”, the lady at the front desk somehow responded with “Restroom?”, which was very confusing. I’m not sure what caused the misunderstanding, but the interaction felt uncomfortable and unprofessional. The entire check-in process felt rushed and unpleasant. She spoke extremely fast and showed no patience, without caring whether I could understand her or not.
Second, when I asked if it was possible to switch to a room on the first floor, she didn’t even check availability and immediately said no. It didn’t feel like she was willing to help at all.
Finally, the soundproofing in the rooms is very poor. That night, my child wasn’t feeling well and we wanted to go to bed early. We called the front desk around 9:30 PM about the noise, and they told us quiet hours start at 10 PM. However, even after 10 PM, the noise continued. We could clearly hear footsteps from upstairs, as well as flushing and water running.
The only positive aspect was the breakfast — there was a good variety of options, and it was quite enjoyable.
If you are looking for a quiet place to rest, this is not a good choice."
