"Absolutely amazing and helpful staff. I had loads of luggage and they helped me to the room with it all so I didnt have to run up and down. Lots of information about the area and what an area. In the mountains and with the river running through the town. The room itselfs was spotless clean, warm and inviting. A quiet nights sleep in a oh so comfortable bed. Would happily stay here again. Loved it. "

"Clean large room, friendly staff, excellent pool facilities. The pool & jacuzzi & sauna & steam room are lovely and can be used by hotel guests, not just spa guests. The pool is a lovely warm temperature. I had a spa treatment & thoroughly enjoyed it. The posh restaurant is the breakfast restaurant & very overpriced, especially for meat. The cheaper restaurant is just outside it, it’s a sports bar with TVs everywhere. Breakfast was sensationally good, great selection, food superbly well cooked & supply maintained. Both crispy streaky bacon & pink back bacon available. Definitely a highlight for us. "

"It’s such a special place for us to stay. The hotel holds such lovely memories of our wedding day. It’s been developed even more now, but tastefully, holding its true identity in style and decor, with the more modern twists where needed. Every staff member is friendly, the food is delicious, lounge areas comfy, outside areas maintained and modern, and the views over Cardiff and out to sea are wonderful. Our room in the older part of the hotel was quirky and so comfortable with lovely views, warm, spacious and the most comfortable bed possible. We can’t fault The New House Country Hotel. It’s worth every penny to stay there. "
