"Unfortunately the chef wasn't available so no dinner service. I personally found the double bed to small and very low. The toilet seat was in need of maintenance. Will give it another try when next in the area."

"Lovely traditional hotel on the river Severn promenade, with large outdoor beer garden and restaurant and intimate indoor restaurant and bar. The hotel is formed of 2 buildings, both with parking, sharing the outdoor facilities. Breakfast and dinner in the hotel were both nice and tasty, served by attentive staff. The hotel is close to the cathedral, the Worcester porcelain museum and other historical properties. A walk on the Severn banks is also recommended."

"We did have an issue with the hot water for the shower and the staff did their best to sort it out. All staff we dealt with were polite, friendly & helpful. The room was very clean and all furniture in good condition. Great to have a large car park on site. Could have done with a bit more choice for a continental breakfast & maybe some rustic bread choices, rather than a sliced loaf. What food we did have was of good quality."

"A beautiful building in a perfect location for enjoying the gorgeous picturesque town of Ludlow. Staff are friendly and welcoming, and if you donโt mind a little bit of uneven flooring in an ancient building this is a great place to stay."

"Great stopover on the way to Newquay. Itโs rated a 5 star but nearer to 4 as thereโs scuffs and stains on the wall. Window was kept closed via a screws. Breakfast was excellent. Polite staff."
