"One of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed at. Great room and balcony with views of the marina and the mill bay inlet. The staff were great friendly and professional. We ate our meals in the main restaurant and the food was delicious. We look forward to our next stay."

"Was amazing start to finish. Staff returned calls, heard my requests and gave above and beyond service. Was large, clean and had a well equipped kitchenette. Parked right in front of our room. Staff came and checked to make sure we were happy and had everything we needed. The inn is right across the street from the ocean and a short walk to a small park area with picnic table to sit at overlooking the water. It was a short walk to restaurants. I highly recommend Wessex inn. The people, setting and service make it a place I would come back to again. Did I mention how helpful, cheerful and pleasant the staff were 😉 Thank you."

"Property looked a little run down, but the unit was clean, and beds were comfortable. Lots of hot water available for showers after a long drive. Close to places to eat and to go for walk. Front desk was polite and friendly. Had a really good experience."

"The heater in our room did not work so it was always too cool. The bed was situated right beside the heater so the air was not able to circulate properly and it would shut down after a few minutes. The breakfast was adequate but the eggs, potatoes and meat were often cold or barely warm. "
