It's a beautiful place to stay. The views are amazing. It is not super close to the main village area where the amenities of the island are but not a big deal. The bed was less than stellar. Not terrible, but have slept on way better at lower end chain type hotels. Would have been nice if Expedia had the info that during low/shoulder season only one restaurant is open....the lounge and second restaurant were closed. Still a lovely place to stay and more of the natural beautiful areas like beaches and view spots are on the south part of the island which is where the resort is

We had a great stay at Poets Cove on Pender Island. Everything was very clean, the amenities were excellent (hot tub, massage, etc.), and the views were absolutely beautiful. It’s the perfect place to relax, escape city life, and enjoy nature. The staff were very friendly, and the restaurant was amazing, especially the seafood. You can tell they have an excellent chef. Highly recommended!

Beautiful resort. Room was cosy, clean with a beautiful view. There wasn’t a phone in the room We ate dinner in the Aurora restaurant and the food was awesome. Looking forward to using the pool and hot tub tomorrow morning before we leave Unfortunately the spa was fully booked on Sunday and not open on Monday so we couldn’t use the steam cave like we had hoped.

Clean room-some of the furniture looked a little worn mind you with scuffs and “ dings”-did not deter from the overall comfort of the room which included a cozy gas fireplace. Great views from the little balcony access and an inviting deep soaker tub with well designed separate shower. The wait staff in the restaurant were very friendly and the salmon dinner that we enjoyed was delicious. Just the kind of relaxing getaway that we needed.

We recently stayed in Cottage 12. The grounds are in a fantastic location, no complaints there. Check in was smooth, we arrived a little before 4 pm and were informed our cottage was just being finished getting ready for us. So we walked around for the 30 or so mins before we could access it. It was off season so parts of the resort were closed, understandable and we knew that in advance. Once we accessed our cottage I noticed a few things that somewhat surprised me. The cottage wasn’t overly clean and was in need of a refurb. Overall it was a nice cottage but desperately needs a new coat of paint and the love-seat and chairs in the living area need to be replaced. They were very stained and rather worn out. There were large amounts of spider webs hanging from the current rods, noticeable mold in the main shower and bath, and I even had a look up into the loft for curiosity sake and it was pretty filthy with garbage and lots of dust and dirt up there. I found the staff to be nice and friendly. Overall a bit disappointed with the overall condition of the cottage, with the cost per night I was expecting something a little more polished. I would stay again but only if the items I mention here were addressed.
