"What a beautiful location! Lovely hotel in a perfect spot.
The staff were all so freindly and helpful, especially the extremely polite dark haired gentleman at the bar when we arrived. He took the trouble to show me to the room and explained everything.
The breakfast was also very good, great choice and lovely to sit with a view of the Abbey.
Would love to stay here again and would highly recommend."
"Loved this accomodation. Everything is spotless! Gorgeous location and the twinkling fairy lights and campfires created such a gorgeous atmosphere at nighttime. Wish I didn’t have to rush off early, but will be back! Thank you to Billy and the team. Highly recommend."
"Stayed one night for a special occasion. Arrived to an empty reception and waited to be let in by the staff who says he's living there. Room was tired and needed a deep clean — springy noisy bed, dust, cobwebs and spiders. "Registration was cursory. Certainly not rude, just “fill in your details and here’s your key.” No offer of assistance for two seniors to carry suitcases up narrow stairs. No further information offered.
Room was adequate. Shower is traditional British style - in a very high narrow tub, very dangerous for seniors in my opinion. Notice in room that no outside food allowed, and may result in an additional charge. Overall good value for money, but more of a two star than a three star hotel. "
"Good sized room and comfortable bed. Helpful staff, Can’t comment on restaurant as we ate in the bar, good choice of food there.
Leisure facilities excellent, enjoyed our stay in this relaxed atmosphere"
