Top Penn Laird Hotel Reviews
The Village Inn Harrisonburg
8/10 Good
"The front desk staff, both during check-in and check-out, were extremely courteous, professional, and helpful. The property is old so expect to see rust in the faucets and holes in the curtains. But it was clean. The room had clean working frig and microwave, which we used. The outdoor area was well maintained. We brought our two German Shepherd dogs with us and the room with one queen bed was large enough to accommodate their mats, with plenty of room to spare."
Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Harrisonburg, VA
8/10 Good
"Bed was comfortable and the location was convenient. The room was outdated and had a slight musty odor. The shower products were low end as well"
Howard Johnson by Wyndham Harrisonburg

"great place to stay close to alot of restuarants"
Holiday Inn Staunton Conference Center by IHG
8/10 Good
"Decent hotel. Mostly well maintained property, helpful and attendant staff. Convenient location to Staunton. Room had damaged weather stripping on window, and perhaps it was that that allowed a lot of the highway noise to come in the room. Also, there was a damp spot on the carpet near the window (perhaps from the rain, perhaps from the cooling unit). The heating/cooling unit was pretty loud too. Overall a good experience, It just seemed a little pricey for what we got ."
Ramada by Wyndham Harrisonburg
8/10 Good
"It was a perfectly fine, affordable hotel conveniently located right off the highway. The staff was great. My only issue was how uncomfortable the bed was, otherwise everything was good. Perfect for a cheap one night stay"
Days Inn by Wyndham Harrisonburg
8/10 Good
"Positives : Clean room, comfortable beds, great value from Expedia. Negatives : No washcloths available in our bathroom. Continental breakfast although fresh and well stocked, was situated in a very small area off the main desk area. Parking was limited unless you get there early. If you go out somewhere to dinner, expect not to find parking close to your entrance door. Speaking of which, try to get a room in the same building as the main desk. Having to walk in the pouring rain just before joining the closet sized continental breakfast gang was not enjoyable. So pick your poison. I’m not a Karen and was still won over by the positives I listed. Hey it’s not the Waldorf Astoria ya know !!"
