"Air Conditioning in the room was not good. Pool was ok. Breakfast was ok. Not many options. Property all around needs to be updated"

"This motel was great! The car is well maintained. It is not huge, but that was expected seeing as it is a train car. The property is beautiful. The motel is between two fields with incredible sunrises and sunsets. The old-fashioned locomotive runs during the day, which is amazing to see for the kids. It does not run at night so it is not waking you up. The property offers buggy rides to purchase. They have little goats, alpacas and a miniature horse that you can feed and are incredibly friendly. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. They called to make sure I didn’t need anything when I first checked in before the office closed. They are the same staff that run the restaurant. The restaurant is great and the prices are reasonable. I will definitely be staying here again. The next time I am in the area."

"First off the air conditioner didn’t work in 90 degree weather and then upon complaining to the front desk we were told no room change could be made. A few hours later a BED BUG was crawling on the pillow. We checked out!!! Don’t go to this terrible place to sleep"

"This hotel was comfortable with a friendly front desk staff, but it needs updating and definitely a coffeemaker or electric kettle in the rooms. Granted there was a refrigerator and iron with board; I wonder who uses one these days, perhaps those involved with a wedding. Breakfast was included, though lackluster, but the chocolate chip cookies baked daily were a nice treat. Also, the microwave in breakfast room is available to guests all day. The location of the hotel was convenient, surrounded by a large expense of lawn and within short walking distance of several restaurants. What with being quiet at least midweek, this hotel with comfortable beds is adequate for a short stay."
