"There was no easy way between the floors - metal spiral staircase outside which was dangerous when raining and a lift inside which kept getting stuck!"

"Truly wished we had stayed longer. So much space! The owners were very helpful and accommodating. Even the view of St. Michael's Mount was really great. Quick drive down to Penzance. Great hub for exploring the Penwith Peninisula"

"The cottage is fine and it is in a nice location BUT the details of the cottage listed on the Expedia website and Sykes Cottages are different and misleading. Expedia shows the cottage to be within the Penzance city centre & 8 minute walk from the ferry terminal. The cottage is 8 miles (13 kms.) from the Penzance city centre. "Rooms were clean only thing missing was wardrobe in main bedroom, wardrobe in back bedroom smells damp. Nowhere to hang clothes. "

"A great place to stay for 3 nights (would have preferred longer but not available), well provisioned, very warm and well insulated, high quality fittings, spacious sitting area and kitchen and superb lighting. Handy for town, harbour, eating places and fish shops. Only negatives for us (we are in our 70's) would have preferred a firmer mattress and settee."
