"This is a wonderful quote budget friendly quote inn/ resort/ motel! It’s just north of the airport but still in Sarasota on US 41. We often stay at a place, BHR further south on the trail — very happy to have found this hidden gem here. There are so many little details that prove leaps and bounds above anything offered at other place. Highly recommended."

"Ran like a prison , you half to turn in your towels to receive a clean towel . Then I here are never enough towels to give out . Housekeeping, what house keeping? No amenities , two treadmills in a gym and both broke . Entire hotel smells of marijuana even in elevator every day . I stayed three days and there are betters ones out there . If you’re looking for a comfortable, clean stay stay far away from here . Happy travels "

"The room was clean and comfortable, with nothing needing repair. Our stay was quiet and relaxing, even though the hotel seemed to be full. The breakfast was good although the first day there was no breakfast meat, but plenty of other options. Parking was free and convenient. We would stay here again."

"I stayed at Golden Host host several different times prior to the pandemic lockdown. It was always a very good motel with a helpful staff. This current stay at the motel was my first time in 7 years. And Golden Host has improved in every way...the updated rooms with delightful art deco refrigerator and microwave, very comfortable bedding, a large flat screen television, a major facelift to the lobby, the pool and the patio tables and chairs, and a staff that is there for all your needs. Also, the Bahi Hut bar is as good as ever...and now has the addition of a night of karaoke, two nights of live music and an evening of drag bingo...all delightful! My compliments to the manager, Katrina, and the rest of the dedicated and caring staff. Thank you!"
