"Hotel rooms are a little dated, reception area clean and welcoming. Stayed during the recent heat wave and be warned the rooms (at least the two i stayed in) have no AC and are stupidly warm, was a desk fan in the room that was 15 years old (had a PAT sticker showing year of first test) the fan was loud and very dusty. Small fridge in room which is convenient They have two EV chargers. Just have to download an App (of course!!) The good thing about the hotel and why i stayed and will probably again is the decent gym and pool, without these definitely wouldn't stay again otherwise Can't comment on the restaurant as I never used it but looks ok"

"We really enjoyed our stay. The staff in particular were so helpful especially because they located my husband’s wallet he had misplaced. Locals often could be found in the bar/dining area. The only issue was related to having rooms that were dated. We had a disabled room and were concerned that there were no electric power points next to the bed. To recharge mobiles etc was difficult. We would return if we had the opportunity."

"Stayed in a Spa Suite, which was disappointing. Came with a Jacuzzi, Plunge & Sauna, which were all in a rear Courtyard. The rear Courtyard was covered in bird poo, so walking to either the Jacuzzi, Plunge or Sauna was like playing Twister! Outside seating cushions were either damp, mouldy or covered in bird poo! It’s clear that external housekeeping is lacking as are any form of spot checks by management. Cobwebs & leaves galore too! Some furniture needs renewing such as the Egg Seat in the rear Courtyard, which was very rusty & staining the patio. The actual Spa was very good as were the Spa Treatments. The atmosphere, food & vibe of the Hotel was excellent; frustratingly our mains were missed & we had to wait over an hour though! Overall, it didn’t meet our expectations, but so easily could’ve if managed a little differently i.e with attention to detail. Could be an absolute gem…"

"The property is simply stunning! I have been to the Cotswolds many times over the years however this was a first for my partner who found the area breathtaking. The highlight of her few days here was the hotel. Every aspect of the hotel was faultless and will certainly return for a longer stay."
