"This was our 10th Visit to the Milky Bay Hotel, and to our total surprise, the resort underwent a major renovation since we last stayed there, and it is absolutely beautiful!! We had a stunning room, and the staff that's become like family treated us like royalty. Well done on the superb renovation, and the Resort will remain one of our favourite places to go to!! "We had a wonderful stay as two couples on a trip together at Kupu Kupu - everyone was so lovely and wanted to make sure we had everything we could possibly need. We felt so welcome and comfortable, our rooms were also beautiful. Everyone who worked there was amazing but in particular San and Andy were great. The breakfast was excellent. Highly recommend. "
"I checked in a bit late, got the key, drop my luggage and went out for diner and drink.
When I came back for sleeping I realized that the water in the bathroom was dripping and shower head was broken.
The morning after, I asked the lobby to fix those 2 problems, they did it and had a quiet night.
All of this to mention, the maintenance of the place is not very good, but when you ask them to repair stuff they will do it. I believe bad management but if you push people a bit they will do the...
"Nicest staff ever! Pool is beautiful and big, our poolside bungalow was also very spacious, the grounds are nice and the beach is a couple minutes walk. They cleaned our room daily and the breakfast included delicious Burmese food with western cuisine. We enjoyed a small beach party as well, every Wednesday. "
